16 - The champions

The next day was chaotic as ever. Names of three students will be drawn out of the goblet of fire. You finally sat down with Theo, Blaise and Pansy but no sign of Draco. You were wondering where he was till he finally showed up sitting next to you.

"Sit down. Please" Dumbledore asked calmly.

"Now the moment you've all been waiting for. The champions selections." Dumbledore stated.

The wise man then walked up to the red inferno waiting for the first name to rise. A small burnt paper then flew out into the Professors hand.

"The Durmstrang champion is... Victor Krum!" He announced as people cheered the Bulgarian seeker.

Then the Goblet turned a dark red again as another piece of parchment paper flew out into Dumbledore's grasped.

"The champion of Beauxbatons is miss Fleur Delacour!" Dumbledore claimed as another roar of cheers filled the great hall.

"The Hogwarts champion... Cedric Diggory!" He revealed you were surprised it was him but stilled cheered.

"Y/N stop drooling over Diggory." Blaise blurted.

"I- oh shush Blaise he is just a friend." You replied hiding your now redden cheeks.

"Oh please, just a friend." Draco scoffed.

"What is up with you-" You replied but you got cut off by the goblet turning red again everyone was confused about what was happening. There can't be a fourth champion, can they?

Dumbledore then had another piece of burnt parchment in his hand. Everyone was curious till he shouted out a name. No one couldn't believe it.

"Harry Potter... HARRY POTTER!" The man roared as everyone was looking for Harry.

Harry then got up slowly from his place and walked over to the goblet where Dumbledore was. Everyone in the great hall was whispering rumours already about what just happened. Some students were even shouting nasty things to the boy. Harry then entered into another room you were curious where the four champions went.

"Silence! Everyone go to your lessons." Dumbledore proposed.

"I'm telling you he put his name in there, of course, he did anything to give him more attention." Draco fumed in the common room.

"Oh get over it Draco I don't think Harry would have done it right Blaise? Theo?" You asked the other two boys.

"Don't get me involved." Theo replied and Blaise just rolled his eyes.

"For Merlin sake, I'm going to go find Harry, Ron or Hermione then." You added while storming off.

After a while, you go to see Harry and Hermione see how they are. You all caught up for a bit near the Black Lake as you sit close to Harry.

"Come on Y/N do it again it's bloody hilarious." Harry joked.

"Okay okay wait let me concentrate." You replied as you try to make Hermione float again without your wand. Ever since you found out you could do advance magic you practised jokes and pranks, especially with the Weasley twins.

"Y/N put me down!" Hermione snorted like a pig enjoying the moment.

"We best get Y/N back before Snape or any Slytherin sees her it's last hours." Harry added in.

"Well you best take her under the cloak we will be fine getting back. See you Y/N." Hermione wished her goodbyes as you and Harry get under the cloak to sneak back into the Hogwarts grounds.

After some time you and Harry finally got to the Slytherin common room and took the invisibility cloak off.

"Thank you for walking me back Harry." You whispered so no one could hear.

"It's nothing Y/N." He replied with a smile before he starts to walk off.

"Wait, Harry!" You blurted making him stop in his tracks slowly turning around.

"You know I believe you." You stated.

"I know Valentine I know." Harry replied then began walking to the Gryffindor tower.

After Harry was out of sight you were then sneaked into the Slytherin common room hoping no one was awake. You were wrong. Draco, Theo and Blaise were all sat in the common room clearly waiting for you.

"Speak of the devil." Blaise mentions as you strutted over to them.

"What in the world do you think you're doing hanging around Potter and his friends Y/N." Draco fumed as you rolled your eyes knowing this was coming.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Draco I need to come to ask you for permission for who I can and can't be friends with." You responded sarcastically making Theo and Blaise smirk.

"He is the enemy Y/N why are you even hanging out with him?" Draco added.

"Let me ask a question how did you even know I was with him today?" You asked as Draco and Blaise darted their eyes at what Theo was holding.

"Oh, my word." You stared in disbelief.

Love triangle?

It has come to attention to many students at the Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry that Harry Potter and Hermione Granger (Muggleborn) were a couple in the past few weeks.

But from today's information from Pansy Parkinson that Y/N valentine has been hanging out with the couple and seems very close to one another.

Is the Harry Potter cheating on his partner or is it a love triangle in Hogwarts between two famous witches and wizards and a muggle-born.

"This is outrageous! I can't believe that nasty lying bitch." You roared as you ripped the paper out of Theo's hand and throw it into the fire.

"Rita Skeeter should be sacked from her job she's full of lies like Pansy's ass." You ranted furiously.

"No one is going to come after you like they have Hermione Y/N you're a Valentine." Blaise reassured you.

"Don't worry Y/N I'll get my father on her." Draco stated.

"Well, I am absolutely livid at that woman I'm off to bed and hope Pansy is asleep or I'll hex her." You admitted storming to your dorm.

"She needs to get her priorities straight." Theo mumbled.

"She has got sassier hasn't she." Blaise commented.

"Yup." Draco confirmed.
