33- O.W.L.S

Days have gone by ever since you got that letter. Dumbledore was gone and you never came out of your dorm. Astoria and Daphne would bring you food up. You studied a lot trying to work hard for the upcoming exams. You'd go to some lessons but no one would talk to you as the news went around. You even avoided Draco, Theo and Blaise. But today changed. Especially as you had your O.W.L.S. You headed down early to the common room, studying quickly for your exams today.

'Y/N!' Draco shouted as he ran up to you. He hugged you tightly.

'I'm so sorry.' He whispered. as you faintly cried into his arms.

'All fifth-year students must go to the hall for their first exam.' Snape called out as he entered the Slytherin common room.

'Take your time on the exam Y/N. Don't worry too much about it.' Blaise muttered as you all walked to the exam.

'Good luck guys.' Theo added as you all entered the hall silently.

Soon enough the hall filled up with all houses of the fifth year. Professor Umbridge began to speak talking about the rules of the exams and what it is about. The clock started to tick. You were so stressed about it and tried your best. You had 2 hours for the written exam. But you only took an hour and 20 minutes to complete it. You rushed so much. The sound of the clock ticking made you panic all you could think about was your father. You got up and left the hall crying. 40 minutes later, Harry, Ron and Hermione came over to you.

'We're sorry about what happened Y/N.' Hermione muttered.

'Don't be sorry, we have bigger problems ahead of us.' You smiled as you wiped your tears.

'Y/N, Hagrid wants to see us.' Harry mentioned as you got up to follow him. The four of you quickly headed to Hagrids hut. He then took you into the forbidden forest. It made you forget about earlier but it would be what your father wanted. He'd want you to move on and finish what Voldemort started.

'Any idea where he's taking us?' Ron questioned.

'Hagrid, Why can't you just tell us?' Harry asked as they walked further into the forest.

'I'rve never see'n the Centaurs so riled nd' they're dangerous at the best of times. Hagrid explained avoiding the question.

'Hagrid where are you taking us'? You asked.

'Yer gonna have to wait nd' see Y/N.' Hagrid added as he walks further.

'Hagrid what's going on?' Hermione demanded.

'Sorry to be so mysterious with you four. I wouldn't bother you at all with it but with Dumbledore gone, I'll likely be sack any day now. I couldn't leave without tellin someone about him.' Hagrid explained. Soon enough trees started to ruffle and leaves fall off. A giant came out of nowhere.

'Grawpy... Down 'ere yer great buffoon.' Hagrid chuckled as the giant turned around. You, Harry, Ron and Hermione backed away.

'Grawpy, I've brought yer some company.' Hagrid explained calmly. Grawpy looked down slowly and ran towards the four of you but came to a halt as he was tied to a rope.

'I couldn't just leave him because yer see he's me brother.' Hagrid admitted.

'Blimey.' Ron whispered.

'Well half brother really. He completely harmless just like I said. Little high-spirited is all.' Hagrid added. Grawpy then grabbed you swiftly pulling you into the air.

'Grawpy! That is not very polite.' Hagrid roared.

'Put. Me. Down... Now!" You ordered as the giant slowly put you down.

'You okay Y/N?" Harry asked.

'I'm fine.' You replied.

'Think you've got an admirer.' Ron muttered. 

Grawpy then walked over to his tree and grabbed a bike handlebar with a bell on it. He then handed it to Hermione to 'play' with it as she did so. Hagrid then explained some more about Grawpy and headed back to the castle ready for bed as there were more exams tomorrow.

It was the next day at Hogwarts and it was a History of Magic exam. You worked really hard revising for all topics. But with the news, you got your head went to blank. But today was a new day.

'History of Magic exam today.' Theo mentions as you all walk to the hall.

'Not going to walk out of this one Valentine?' Blaise asked.

'Nope, I think I've got this.' You smiled.

'Good, Let's go then.' Draco announced as you all went inside the hall.

Umbridge spoke as usual about the rules and the exam boards. Another two hours for this exam. About 40 minutes into it aloud banging was coming outside of the great hall. Disrupting the exam. People ignored it and carried on but then the noise happened again louder. As if it was getting closer like a predator. Professor Umbridge strutted towards to end of the hall to the doors. Everyone watched her as she did. She opened the doors.

A small spark of light was right against her face. The spark of magic exploded into the great hall. People were confused but you knew what was happening. The Weasley twins planned this for weeks. The twins came flying into the great hall on their brooms making a massive commotion in the middle of the exam.

They made all exam papers fly into the air: ripping, exploding, shredding. Students cheered as they did this. As they did so, they set orange and purple fireworks off in the hall. People were dazzled and amazed at this. Students jumped around the whole as mini colourful fireworks came out of the two big ones.  

Professor Umbridge was furious. She roared, shouted, yelled and screamed but nothing worked. You saw as fireworks chased after Draco and Theo, imprinting their faces on walls. It was such a good day. 

Soon enough Fred and George gave you a signal. You threw a small piece of the firework into the air as Fred and George did too. It was the biggest one yet. But this one was special. This firework turned into a dragon and chased after Umbridge. Her short little legs sprinted to the door as it followed her outside. The firework dragon exploded into smaller fireworks and destroyed all the school rules into nothing. All that was left was smashed glass on the floor.

Soon Fred passed you the broom that Filch took off you. He clearly stole it from his cupboard. You hoped on it and quickly zoomed out of the hall with Fred and George. The three of you headed to the courtyard setting off more fireworks. Soon enough students from all years at Hogwarts were outside watching the magical show of entertainment. Students cheered as they saw a gigantic 'W' in the sky.

'This the start of your shop boys?' You smirked.

'Hell yeah.' They grinned in unison.

But something caught your eye. Harry was passed out on the floor as Hermione rushed over to him with Ron. You quickly flew down to the ground as you helped them bring Harry back inside of the castle.

'Sirius' Harry blurted.

Fifth year only has 1 more chapter left and I have planned out the rest of the book:(( But it will be interesting of course. This book has 58 chapters and an introduction and 1 A/N so 60 pages altogether. I have also planned out my newest book which is going to be so exciting and different (kinda) to this book. I say kinda as it's a harry potter fantasy book but different ending etc etc you get the drill. I cannot wait to finish this for you all to enjoy byeee!!!
