sorry for changing up the idea for this chapter

The door opened to the entire way, that had piles of jackets and shoes of varying types, in the open closet door. A wooded bench was pressed up against the wall, it was much cleaner then I thought it would be. There were a backpack and a dog leash. The bench had colourful, plastic bins under it, though I couldn't tell what was in them.

A clicking noise comes flooding the entire way. As a large golden dog came barreling down the hallway, jumping at Rick, but barking at me. The unknown person probably scared the dog. Rick kneeled down petting the dog to calm it down, "shhhh, Micky. Calm down, girl." His voice was gentle and sweet, but stern enough that you would just do whatever he says. He let out a little innocent giggle, "Sorry, this is Micky. She's not mean, she won't bite."

"Hey, Rick. Welcome home," The voice of one of the other boys echoed. It was a shorter, differently younger boy with sun-kissed, caramel skin. He was much different than Rick aside from the long hair, he was hazel with waves at the ends. His eyes were a bold green. like a thick forest after the rain. his smile was bright and joyous. "Hi, you must be Augustus," he had a North American accent, I assume he was from around here. He came closer to me, which made me kind of freak out. He was so pretty, he was too pretty. " I'm Donavan, but you could just call me Donny or Don. It's noice to meet you." It took me a moment to realize that he literally said 'noice'. Well, you can't have both brains and beauty.

"Alright, how bout I show you your room," Rick said, he took my suitcase again and took me up the stairs that was just down the hallway. I hear Donavan shout behind me, "I want you to know that it goes by age. the younger of us go on the lower floor!" he stared but we keep walking up the stairs "your on the same floor as Quinn, Fabian, and Evan. SO, GOOD LUCK."

We got onto the first floor, the stairs continued up to the second floor. He pulled my suitcase down the hall. It was quite, but I was thankful for the silence. The jet lag was really getting to me I just needed a nap. He opened the last door, it leads to a plain-looking room with blue and gray bedding. but other then the closet and an old looking mirror, the room was empty.

I should probably say something, I haven't said much at all since I arrived. "Excuse me,"

"hmm?" was all he had to say in response. He looked like if I said the wrong thing he would hit me. Or maybe that was my anxiety at play telling me that if I say the wrong thing he would hit me.

" I- uh I just wann-wanted to re-remind you that, uh, the-the res-t of m-m-my-my, um, ssstuff is coming tomorrow, just in case you for-forgot or something. Not to say that you forget things I bet you don't its just sometimes people forget things and I wanted to remind you not that you need reminding Im just trying to be nice," I sounded like an idiot while saying this. I deserver nothing but death for making a fool out of myself in front of such a gorgeous man.

I feel his hand move to my shoulder, and his face comes in to view. He had leaned over a bit so I didn't have to look up to him. His gaze was soft and reassuring, the calming aura engulfed me and I instantly knew he wasn't mad or disappointed in me. The touch of his warm hand on my shoulder made me feel at home. I was home, right here, this was home.
