Chapter 4

A week later...

"Okay, James what is your favor?" I sighed, James had not bothered me this whole week, finally a week of peace and quiet.
James smirked and then lowered his voice "Will you, Kendall Vertes come with me to the Halloween dance, and I chose which costume you wear" I cursed under my breath "shit" I sighed "fine but nothing revealing".
It was the end of our shift and James and I apparated to Madam Malkins, "Make the girl a devil costume, up to here, James pointed to my thighs, then he went out of the shop smirking.
After 10 minutes James came back and he practically drooled over me, I went to the mirror and I muttered "I am so bloody sexy",I was wearing a blood red dress, with horns and a tail pinned on the dress, I had pretend vampire fangs.
Then James payed for the dress and we apparated to my house.
"I'll see ya later, princess" he winked and apparated to his house.
I took off my devil costume and put it my my closet.
Than I went to the bathroom and took a shower, it was hot, and relaxing.
I put soap on my body, and than I rinsed it off, then I put "Miss Marilda's lovely conditioner for curly hair" and rubbed it around my head.
Then I sang a song, that me myself and I made, it is in latin.
"cum repente una tantum odisti , et nescis quid faciam" (when the one you hate just steals you, and you have no idea what to do ) I sang, "mihi crede , non amare" (trust me and don't fall in love) I continued.
I went out of the shower and wiped myself, then I walked into my room, put on clothes, and then I felt me head hurt and I fell on the floor.
There was a person above me, he was as close to a human than any other animal, yet he wasn't human.
He had slits where his nose was supposed to be and red fiery eyes, he stared at me and twiddled with his wand, then he raised his wand up and said "Educet me ames populus" (bring me the people that you love) and I saw my parents, James, Maddie, my older sister, and then the person pointed a wand at my best friend Maddie Ziegler, and said "Avada Kedavra" I watched as she fell backwards and I ran to her, her body was cold, I felt tears falling from my eyes, then he looked at James, and whispered "Avada Kedavra" he fell back, I ran to James, my tears dropping on his face
Then the person did the same to my sister and then, to my parents, I ran to my parents and sister, and I cried, "I wish I could die" I thought, the man laughed, then pointed his wand he and yelled "crucio" and I felt torture I never felt before, worse than knives or needles, worse than anything I ever expirienced
"Kill me" I croaked, and then he pointed his wand at me "Avada Kedavra" I woke up in alarm and I found myself at Saint Mungos, though this time as a patient.
James was over me, about 2 inches from my face, and I felt so safe, all I wanted to do is to move my head upward and snog him.
