(Insert Binary Sunset by the legendary John Williams)

-Young Shmi sitting by the flickering light of a lamp...Her hands gently moving up and down, her hands trailing over the gentle swell of her belly. Then coming to rest over the bump her face becoming soft and her lips pulling up at the edges, a smile that beams as bright as the desert moon outside her sandstone room. As she closes her eyes she lets the white light of the moon break in across her sun kissed skin, listening to the sounds of the music from the Mos Espa market place, the beats of the low drums matching the thumping beat of her heart. And slowly she feels the tiny hand pressing up against where her palm had come to rest.-

Shmi: Hello there....

We all begin in the darkest, blackest, soundless void of creation. Our stories are begun long before the light ever touches our skin or burns our eyes as we look out from the past, and into the future. The darkness is where we wait for our stories to be written. The darkness is where we all begin, and for a time we stumble through the veiling shadows that cling to us as we move through our lives. Until eventually, the darkness becomes a faint echo of only memory. This new world of light is where we find our place, our purpose, and become who we were only waiting to become. The beginning of our story is born in that space, only an inch of space...between darkness and light....
