"you dont sound very excited" he says sitting down across from me "hm" i hum still looking down at my phone  "So....where are you from?" He asks leaning forward

 i sit back in my chair finaly looking up at him "im from New York" i say as he nods "Your Korean is really good" he says as i hum nodding my head "Your very quiet" he states the obvious as i just nod not paying much attention

 "so whats the setlist?" he asks smiling at me "the setlist consists of six songs, we will start with wave, then illuson, Aurora, Say My Name, Wonderland and finish with Hala Hala" i say as he nods sitting back in his chair "And your taking on mine, Mingi's and Jongho's parts?" he asks as i nod turning my phone off and putting it away, 'God, I feel like im being interrogated!'

We sit in silence until once again he breaks the silence "so what do you think about the whole collaboration thing?" he asks stretching, i look down playing with my bracelet as i try to word my answer, so i go for what sounds the most rational "to be honest i dont know how i feel about the whole thing" i say keeping my focus on my bracelet, he hums as a response and once again the awkward silence is back 'How nice' 

i sit back in my chair as we both look up at the same time making eye contact, i look away as first as he clears his throat, 'Well that wasnt awkward at all' i go back to playing with my bracelet as if its the most interesting thing in the room till he speaks up again "So whats your schedule for today?" he asks, i look up to meet his eyes " i practiced this morning then this meeting and i guess im gonna go back and practice more" i say with a shrug and he nods "Well id best be going" he says as he gets up i follow his actions as we walk to the door "it was nice to meet you" he says as we walk out of the room shutting the door behind us "you too" i say with a small smile "see you soon and good luck with the concert" he says with a smile " thanks and see you soon" i say as i start to walk in the direction of the practice room 'Well that went ok i guess'

I sigh as i arrive at the practice room, i sit down replaying the meeting in my head 'The next few months are gonna be interesting' i think to my self as i get up and start practicing again.

HONGJOONG POV

Me and my manager arrived at MHK for our meeting, 

we walked in going up to reception to find out where the meeting is, the girl gets up from behind her desk and escorts us to a room, 

we knock on the door and walk in to see a man who i asume is the groups manager, he holds hid hand out for us to shake as we exchange introductions "im sure Ms May will be here any minute" he says with a smile as we take a seat

Moments later we hear i light knock on the doror before it opens revealing an out of breath girl, i quickly take in her appearance, shes wearing black high waisted jeans with a white cropped hoodie, her hair is in a high pony tail and you can tell she isnt korean, she quickly apologizes before sitting down 

i notice her looking at me for a second before turning to look at her manager as he starts the meeting,

the meeting goes by pretty quickly and ive learnt that we are the same age and i must say im impressed, she is taking on a lot for her team, soon enough our managers leave us alone and an awkward silence fills the room, so i decide to break it

"So looks like were gonna be working together from now on" i say getting up and walking over to sit infront of her "yep looks like it" she says looking down at her phone, "you dont sound very excited" i say pulling out the chair infront of her and sitting down "hm" she hums still looking down at her phone, ok lets try again

"So........Where are you from?" i ask leaning forward, she finally looks back at me leaning back in her chair 'Succes!' "im from New York" she says plainly and i nod "Your Korean is really good" i say impressed but only get a hum and a nod from her, "Your very quiet" i point out to her, but once again she just nods bearly even paying attention to me

"So whats the setlist?" i ask with a smile trying to make some sort of conversation, "The setlist consists of six songs, we will start with wave, then Illusion, Aurora,Say My Name,Wonderland and finish with Hala Hala" she say blancly "And your taking on mine, Mingi's and Jongho's parts?" i ask and she nods finaly turning her phone off and putting it away.

We sit in silence and it feels so awkward so i decide to break it "So what do you think about the whole collaboration?" i ask stretching my limbs, she looks hesitant with her answer as she looks down nervously playing with her bracelet 'Cute' " To be honest i dont know how i feel about the whole thing" she says still playing with her bracelet i hum as a response and once again the painfully awkward silence is back

i sit back in my chair as we both look up at the same time making eye contact, she looks away  first as i clear my throat

she goes back to playing with her bracelet admiring it as if the most interesting thing in this room, so i decide to break the silence again "So whats your schedule for today?" i ask as she finaly looks up to meet my eyes "I practiced this morning, then this meeting and i guess im gonna go back and practice more" she says with a shrug so i just nod

I decide its probably time i should leave as i dont want to over stay my welcome "Well id best be going" i say getting up as she mirrors my actions as we walk to the door,

"It was nice to meet you" i say as we walk out of the room shutting the door behind us "You too" she says with a small but sincere smile "See you soon and good luck with the concert" i say with a smile, to be honest im really excited for the concert , im so curious....

"Thank you and see you soon" she says as she starts walking back to wherever shes going, i just stand their staring at her disappearing figure, replaying the meeting in my head, 'Well this is gonna be fun' i smile as i turn to head down to the lobby 

i walk into the lobby to see my manager there waiting for me, we bid the receptionist and their manager goodbye before heading out to the car

My manager drops me off at our dorm, i walk in to the building heading up to our dorm, as soon as i walk in all the members run up to me bombarding me with questions "Yah!" i shout trying to get their attention, luckily they go quiet, "Look i will tell you all later for now i have some things to do" i say calmly

They all nod as they go back to whatever they were doing, i sigh as i walk to my shared room with Seonghwa, i sit on the bed leaning my back on the wall as i close my eyes, ill tell them later, maybe when we have dinner, but for now im gonna take a nap

i lay down on my bed, sleep taking over me as soon as my head hits the pillow

A/N
