ELLIE'S POV

Several days have past since the big argument and I've been avoiding Hongjoong like the plague, every time he's tried to approach me I've found some sort of way to avoid him.

For most of today we have practice and then we have the afternoon free, As my alarm goes of for what feels like the 100th time this morning i finally turn it off stretching my body as i sit up, i look over at Jina who is wrapped up in her cover still fast asleep, how the hell she can sleep through alarms i have no clue

I drag myself out of bed, lazily walking over to the human caterpillar that's peacefully sleeping in the bed next to me "Wakey Wakey" i whisper in her ear but still not a sound as she still lays there fast asleep, i continue to poke her face but still no reaction, how the fuck does someone sleep through all this?! beings as she left me with no option i slowly stand up as i grab a pillow from my bed, i walk back over to the dead caterpillar bringing the pillow above my head before hitting Jina repeatedly "What the fuck Ellie?!" she groans putting her arms out to try and stop my actions "I tried countless times to get your ass up!" i state halting my actions "Well i'm up now" she sighs rubbing her eyes "What time is it?" she asks sitting up as she adjusts to the daylight shining through the windows "It's now 8 am" i say checking the time on my phone "Shit we have to start practice at 9!" she says worriedly hoping out of bed "I call dibs on the shower first" she says rushing in to our shared bathroom "I'll go make sure the others are up!" i shout to her walking out of our room

I walk into Yeona and Aera's room going straight over to the windows opening the curtains letting the sun shine in onto their sleepy figures "Wakey Wakey time to get up!" i shout going from one to the other trying to shake them awake "We have practice at 9 it's now 8:15 you might wanna get up" i say as funnily enough they both rush out of bed racing each other for the shower "Have fun" i say walking out as i hear Yeona swear out loud

Chuckling at their chaotic behavior i head towards my final destination Mi-Sun, Dallia and Byeol's room.

"Wakey wakey eggs and backy!" i shout opening their curtains as they groan trying to shield their faces from the light "Oh and FYI we leave in 40 minutes for practice " i say walking towards the door as i hear them shuffling behind me.

Now that everyone's awake i walk back to mine and Jina's room, opening the door Jina sits there styling her hair "Bathroom's free" she says i nod grabbing my clothes heading in to take a quick shower

20 minutes later im showered and dressed, wearing a pair of black leggings and a light blue cropped hoodie, i style my hair into a ponytail to keep it out of the way, i make final checks in the mirror before walking out of the bathroom, "That was quick for you!" Jina comments looking up from her phone, i roll my eyes at her walking out of our room heading downstairs

Walking into the living room i find 7 out of 8 members of Ateez all sitting around on the couch "Morning El!" Yunho says with a warm smile "Morning! You guys are up early" i comment sitting down on the empty sofa chair "Yeah we have practice at 10 so we thought it would be a good idea to get an early start" Seonghwa says, i nod my head in understanding as the girls finally show up dressed and ready "Right well we will see you guys later" i say standing up from the seat, we bid them goodbye as we walk out of the house shutting the front door behind us

"So how are we getting there exactly?" Byeol asks mid yawn "I'm driving" i say unlocking the small seven seater "Oh god im scared, please don't kill us i'm only 19" she exclaims dramatically as everyone piles in "Trust me will you" i chuckle starting the car "Here we goo!" i say pulling out of the drive way heading towards KQ Entertainment's building beings that that's where we're now supposed to practice

20 minutes later we arrive safe and sound outside of the building, I pull into a parking space turning the engine off "See it wasn't that bad" i say looking back at the girls "You nearly ran over a squirrel!" Aeria shrieks , rolling my eyes i push the car door open getting out of the vehicle "Well i missed it so its fine" i say looking over at them

we walk in going straight to our assigned practice room, once we're in we put our bags to the side and connect the speakers up "Okay girls let's do this!" I cheer starting the music as we start our practice

A few hours later we've finished for the day, having gone over the choreo several times taking small water breaks along the way, "You guys should go home and get some rest, our manger should be here shortly to pick you up" i say picking my bag up "Okay, don't stay here to late!" Jina says as i leave the practice room

I go up to the 3rd floor where the studio rooms are, looking down at my phone i bump into someone, i look up to find no other than Mr Kim Hongjoong "Oh El, sorry i didn't see you there!" he says scratching the back of his neck "It's okay i was looking for studio number 6" i say finally looking up at him, and holy moly did he look exhausted "Oh it's right next to my studio, follow me!" he says with a small smile

I nod walking along side him "Hongjoong how long have you been here?" i ask looking over at him "Ah well i got a bit too caught up in my work i didn't realize the time" he says chuckling awkwardly looking anywhere but my direction "Have you gotten any sleep?" i ask genuinely concerned "I think i closed my eyes for a few seconds when i sneezed" he jokes finally looking at me and i can see he wasn't lying he really does look tired "Hongjoong the girls are going back to the house if you go now you might catch them, you should get some sleep" i say looking up at him "Nah i'm good" he shrugs as he comes to a stop "This is your studio and right there is my studio" he says pointing out the doors "Okie thank you" I say putting my pin in to unlock the door but before i can go in i feel someone grab my wrist gently and as in someone i mean Hongjoong "Uhm could we talk, Please" he says, i sigh nodding as i invite him into my studio

I glance around quickly admiring the room, it's way bigger than the one i had at the other place, I'm soon pulled out of my thoughts as Hongjoong waves his hand in front of my face , he chuckles at my puzzled state as my cheeks flush lightly "So......" he says breaking the silence "So....." i mimic him as he urges for me to sit on the small couch in there "Look El, I'm really sorry" he sighs.......
