okay theres some explicit stuff that may offend people (so dont read if you get easily offended by sex or if your uncomfortable about it. tbh i am i just wanted to bring awareness to this)
ight basically a few weeks ago i think my wattpad glitched and my reccommended books were different.
they were basically different titles and covers to what was actually in the book.
well i clicked on one cover that looked cute to see what it was and i saw it was a book full of smut. and i mean full of it. i was immediately gna click off it bcs i have innocent eyes but one word caught my eye and that word was hijab. and i was like bitch what why is that word in a smut book. so i looked at the sentence and i was fucking disgusted. literally i wanted to be sick.
anyways i clicked off it bcs i didnt want to read on but i was extremely offended about how this writer portrayed hijabi women in a fkn smut book. for those of you who dont know, islam encourages women to be modest and they go against the whole publicly talking about sex to be modest. it also prevents women from showing skin to men (except for specific relatives).
so i looked into the writer and im not gna give the @ just yet bcs i dont want to expise them without a second or third opinion. -b1tchb0y and bxrnes_spidey_loki help me out here lol.
but anyways i pmed the writer early august right and they replied middle august. so heres the screenshots

so i told him why i was offended over how he portrayed the image of hijabi women and why it was wrong because it goes against the religion

and thn he had the audacity to come at me like that. so i came back by saying that why would you put a hijabi woman in a sex story when ypu know they are haram (which means its wrong in islam basically) and i said if u knew the hijab is something pure then clearly your story and a hijab woman does not fit at all

and he still aint replied yet. idk if im being a ❄️ or smth but this lowkey offended me bcs i know a lot of relatives who wear the hijab and i know if they saw this they would be extremely offended so yeah. idk i just thought that i shoukd tell him that what he did was wrong idk but i had no idea it would turn into a full blown argument idk
