New beginnings Part 3

Melodia's POV

I woke up and got ready 30 minutes before school. While everyone except for mom was asleep I went outside to the song wharf. I was humming return to me, my grandmother's favorite song. When all of a sudden I heard my mom singing the actual song. Then I decided to sing along. When me and my mother were singing I noticed that all the creatures around us were singing in harmony with us. Even the wind had a sweet melody to it. When we were done not only did the atmosphere change, everyone in the house and the neighborhood were clapping for us too. Mom and I took a bow then everyone went back inside.

As I went inside I heard my brother's fighting ad my sisters gossiping. Typical morning. After I finished breakfast Me and mom went through the portal she opened for us and we headed to Alfea. When we got there my mom was giving me the grand tour of the school. Then when we got to the music room she told me to wait for her. She said she had to meet up with some people. Someone called Flora and Tecna. 

As I waited someone came up to me and asked me a question."Hi, my name is Samantha but you can call me Sam. Do you know where the history of magic classroom is?" "Yes. It's down the hall to your right." I said. "Thank you," she replied leaving.

Right after she left I heard a noise outside. I went to the window and saw a girl being attacked by a grabbing ivy(what? I know my plants). Then the girl cast a spell at it, did a flip in the air, and landed on her feet. It was kind of cool watching her do that. After that happened my mom came back and said"Mel we need to go to the auditorium for assembly". And so I followed her.

 When I got inside I was seated next to the girl who asked me a question today. We said hi to each other then a woman with white hair came out and the assembly started.
