When I started writing this, I thought I'll be done with Abir's part but as I continued writing, I realised just how much Mishti has gone through so this part became long and it'll continue in the next chapter also

I have watched old yrkkh and so I know how Mishti was during that time and have written a little about that. You don't necessarily need to have watched the show for this chapter but it'll provide a nice memory if you have

I have poured all that I had into this and I've spent a lot of time on this so please, please do take the time to comment and let me know exactly what you felt while reading this

Looking forward to seeing your reactions

*3 - ABIR*

"Okay bro. I accept that this was my fault. I will tell Mishti sorry. In fact, I'll apologise to her in front of everyone right now."

Abir raised his hand and said, "Stop Kuhu."

She looked at him surprised. "Bro?"

"You don't have to apologise to Mishti. In fact, you have to be apologised to."

Kuhu and the others stared at him gobsmacked. Who had to apologise to Kuhu?

"What are you telling Abir beta? Who to tell sorry to Kuhu teacher?" asked Nidhi Mami.

"Not just Kuhu, Mami, Mishti too deserves an apology. From every single person present here. Right from Bade Papa to Ketki here. Bade Papa, Badi Ma, Shaurya Uncle, Varsha Aunty, Jasmeet Chachi, Ma, Kaushal Mamu, Nanko, Ketu, Me and you. We all owe them an apology."

Mishti started and stood up. "Abi.."

He turned back and shook his head reminding Mishti of her promise. She sat back down and Abir saw the surprise and worry in her eyes. He saw the question in her eyes and shook his head once more. "Trust me, Mishti!" He thought and he saw her nod. He saw the trust she had placed in him and swore for the umpteenth time not to let her down.

"Very good Ji! Now we have to apologise to Muhboli. She doesn't have any work other than destroying this family or what? Muhboli, you..."

Abir turned back with a ferocious glare at Jasmeet chachi who subsided.

"You're all wondering why I'm telling this, right? Why should we apologise to these sisters? I'll tell you. But first, Tell me Jasmeet chachi, you knew Mishti's parents right?"

The Maheshwari Parivaar looked at each other. They hadn't expected this. Why did Abir want to talk about Naman and Karishma now? His own family looked perplexed as well. Abir ignored all of them and focused on Jasmeet chachi.

"Tell me chachi. I found out that Karishma Agarwal was your best friend. Isn't that right?"

Jasmeet cleared her throat and nodded hesitantly. "You only met Naman for the first time with Anshu Uncle right? You met him in Mumbai ages ago when you were studying?"

He received another nod.

"So you were the one who brought Naman and Karishma together during your wedding all those years ago. You were the one who bridged two families together. You and Anshu uncle are the reason there's a Punjabi strain in the Maheshwari line, right? You are the "outsider" compared to Varsha aunty and all?"

"Abir beta" began Badi Ma but Abir lifted a hand and stopped her. "No! Today everything will be out and open and no one will stop me. You can keep trying to stall me but I will continue talking."
