Sapnap huffed softly, shivering from the cold air outside, "So they're together now... or what?"
Bad brought his finger to his chin, tilting his head slightly, looking up at the dim stars in the city, "I don't think they're together, or at least they haven't made it official. All Dream told me was that he finally kissed George and they 'came to terms with their feelings'. I don't really know what that's supposed to mean, but I'm just happy those two muffins are happy! Right, Sapnap?"
Sapnap's expression was grim as he slightly turned away. He mumbled back, wanting to hide that he was pissed off, but it was near impossible, "Right."
Bad stood up, putting out his hand as he helped Sapnap up, "We could probably visit them tonight and see how they're doing! After all, it's been a while since we've seen them."
Sapnap averted his eyes as Bad looked at him, "I'm kind of tired, I'll pass. I'm just gonna head home and go to sleep."
Bad held a concerned expression, he knew something was bothering Sapnap, but didn't want to push too far. He felt trapped again. What was the right choice? To ask Sapnap what was wrong could be pushing too far, but if he didn't then Sapnap might think he didn't care. Bad stood in silence, not knowing what to say.
Sapnap's tired eyes turned to a small squint, still not making eye contact, and he started walking away, back to his car, "Goodnight, Bad."
Bad sighed, knowing it was going to be really hard to get Sapnap to speak up once he talked to him about whatever was going on.
Sapnap got in his car, which was far away enough that Bad couldn't see him. He angrily punched the steering wheel, continuing to narrowly miss so he didn't honk the horn. He started to growl, so frustrated, which then turned into a yell. He punched harder, "Stupid, stupid! God damn it!" He began to start pulling hard at his long and shaggy hair, just enough for it to hurt but not enough to actually pull out any of his dark hair. He breathed in, and let out a loud breath, his hands now on the steering wheel. His throat felt like it was being ripped open from how hard he was holding back his tears with a mean squint. He started the car, and put it into reverse, backing it out of the parking space. He shifted gears again, and hit the gas, speeding along the dark and lonely streets through the night. The low hum his engine made only overwhelmed him more along with the ringing sound in his ears. He kept pressing down on the gas pedal. Faster. And faster. And faster.
The tires screeched, peeling out on the asphalt. Sapnap could feel his heart beating so hard he swore he was going to die. His head slammed against the side of the door from the quick stop and he felt the blood rush to it, making the injury very warm. He held his hand to his head, breathing heavily and shakily. The other car that he almost crashed into had stopped as well, and the owner of it had stepped out of the vehicle. Sapnap decided to step out too, and he had to hold his head still so that it wouldn't ache so much.
Immediately, the other man started yelling and screaming at Sapnap, and when Sapnap didn't reply and only watched in shock, the guy pulled a knife from his pocket and struck Sapnap's left eye. Sapnap screamed out in pain, trying to fight back but struggling as he couldn't see.George put his hand in Dream's, rubbing onto it softly. He smiled to himself, looking at the ground and blushing a bit.
"Don't make fun of me, okay? It's kind of embarrassing... this place just means a lot to me. I've come here for a while and I personally think it's really cool..."
Dream chuckled a bit, swooning over George's cute habits that he did when he was nervous, like avoiding eye contact.
"Dream! Don't laughhhh!" George looked Dream in the eyes, trying to do a desperate face but just looking even cuter.
Dream laughed once more, and then spoke up, "Okay, okay. Are you ready to go? You should put on your jacket since it's night time."
George nodded, but didn't slip on a jacket. He instead pulled Dream with him by his hand, heading out the back door and down the hill their house was on. Dream started to freak out at how fast they were going downhill, scared he was gonna trip over his own feet, "Woah, George chill out a bit! Go slower!"
George only smiled wider, continuing to run with his hand in Dream's until they made it out of the small forest and out by a body of water.
Dream smiled, looking at the water, "It's really pretty, isn't it? I understand why you come here- woah, George, what the hell?"
When Dream looked back at George, George was slipping his shirt off. George chuckled, and smiled at Dream before diving into the water.
Dream was surprised, but shivered at the thought of how cold the water would be since it was night. He wasn't going to follow George into the water, until he realized George had been under there for a while. In reality it hadn't been that long, but it made Dream anxious. He clenched his teeth, his heart speeding up as he took his shirt off, and dived in to "save" George.
Dream did know how to swim, and had enjoyed to do so often, but for some reason this made him really anxious. Was it because of being around George? He wasn't really sure. He refused to open his eyes, not wanting the water to burn them. He desperately and blindly grabbed around, trying to find George. He struggled for a bit, until George put his hand in Dream's.
Dream opened his eyes slowly, still underwater, and he felt his heart speed up.
