  By just calling your name,

Why does my heart ache?

Down the ever busy streets of Seoul her footsteps drowned under the din of the crowd and the even louder howling of the winter winds. On both sides of the street, warm lights shone briefly illuminating the steam rising from the hot food being eaten by laughing voices. Even if the warmth called her freezing form she knew better than to stop and waste time.

The snow coated her black attire as she held her arms close to herself. She regretted forgetting her warm coat at her work. Her bag lay slung on one shoulder, colour the same as her attire. Her hands reached up to remove the bun and letting the dark hair fall, providing a coat of protection against the bitter winds. As she reached the end of the lane she finally spotted a shop selling clothes.

Her entire frame shuddered as another breeze blew by and a few tears slipped from her eyes owing to the freezing temperatures. Throwing a brief glance at the board above the shop she walked inside. As soon as the warmth of the heater hit her she sighed. As she dusted the snow off herself her dark eyes wandered the shop's interior. Warmly lit with a wooden floor and different sections of clothes marked making it easier to find what one needed. She spotted the coats section and she practically ran towards it. Running her hand through the various coats on a rack she jumped at the sound of a voice from the other side of the rack.

"Bare arms and frosty winds don't go well together, here try this on"

She parted the coats to reveal a lady in her sixties. The roots of her hair were white and the rest a shade of paling black as it was tied into a low bun. She wore a skirt and a shirt topped with a warm looking shawl around her shoulders. In her pale thin hands she held a pure white, knee length coat. Just what she needed.

She thanked the old lady as she took the coat from her and tried it on. Fitting her frame and closing at her neck it provided all the warmth she needed. But seeing her neck bare she knew it would be attacked by the frosty winds. She looked up from her frame too find the old lady already gone. She peered over the racks looking for her but in vain.

Walking further down the aisle she looked for mufflers. Having no time to waste she rushed almost tripping over a loose floorboard. Seeing a man in the furthest corner of the shop trying on winter boots with his back to her as she approached him. Tapping him on the shoulder she brought his attention to her. She was almost left speechless at his beauty. The tan skin shining under the lights, the white hair covered with almost melting snow and dark eyes accentuating the bright blue irises immediately shifting their focus from the floor and turning to look at her with a curious expression.

"Umm...do you perhaps know where I can find some mufflers?", she asked.

Nodding he pointed to a rack down two aisles. Thanking him she jogged down and was relieved to find mufflers there. Picking a white muffler she walked to the counter pleased with herself. The old lady from before sat there with her head propped on her arms as her eyes lit up on seeing the girl clad in a white coat with an addition of a white muffler around her neck.
