Just like old times

They were all silent as they followed the nurse inside and she began to lead them down a long hallway but Arcadia stops walking.

"whats wrong, why did you stop?" Meliodas asks in confusion as he turns to look at Arcadia in worry

"i think that I'm just going to wait out here" Arcadia mumbles softly and looked down at the floor as she gently fiddled with her fingers

"Are you sure?" Meliodas asks the girl in confusion and she just nodded her head

"Yeah, i think that i will just go and wait outside" Arcadia tells him and puts a fake smile on her face as she looks up at them, though the fake smile was picked up on straight away by both Meliodas and Ban

"Its alright captain, ill go and wait outside with her while you stay back here and talk to the doctor or whoever" Ban says and walks over to Arcadia and then he wraps his arm around her shoulder and pulls her into his warm body

Arcadia and Ban make their way outside and they find somewhere to sit "so what happened back in there?" Ban asks as he looks down at her, not knowing about the events that had occurred earlier but knowing that something had happened and it had upset her

"I don't know what you're talking about," Arcadia mumbled out and looked away from it, anger flowed through her as she was attacked by guilt, she could feel it tearing at her flesh and eating away at her insides. Thats just what happened, she got mad... someone gets hurt... and she feels extremely guilty afterwards and quite frequently, the guilt led her to do something else and it just turned into an on going cycle that she wanted to stop but couldn't. 

"Dont lie to me, i know you bug... something happened earlier" Ban mutters and grabs her chin before carefully turning her head to look at him. He could see all the thousands of different emotions that the girl was feeling all at once as he stared into her ocean eyes and he could feel his heart break for her.

"Its the same thing as always Ban, someone hurt Meliodas so i hurt them back... i cant control myself" She says angrily but then her voice turns into a whisper "I'm just a monster, i always have been and i always will be"

And the truth was... she was a monster, a multi thousand year old demon who had slaughterd countless people without even the blink of an eye... but my was she beautiful... she was unforgettable and her inner demons ran wild, but they liked to play with others demons... but what made them demons? Was it the name? Was it the race she was born in? or was it the crimes that she had committed?

"Youre not a monster Arcadia" Ban says and this was the most serious Arcadia had ever seen Ban... they had always joked around and he hardly ever called her by her true name "You have never been a monster and no matter what you do... you could never be a monster. All of us have killed and hurt people Arcadia... sure you lose your temper but you are the kindest and greatest of us all. You try to hide behind your strong facade because you think it makes you seem stronger... But come on bug... you're the strongest of us all, you mean so much to all of us, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. Youre a Sin... you had to do something to become one... you're looking out for you're family just like you always have"

Arcadia smiles softly at ban and then leans into him and her arm goes around the back of his torso "thank you Banzy... for everything" she mumbles and he places a kiss on top of her head before placing his chin ontop of her head.  It felt good to be around each other again, out of all the sins, he had missed her the most and Arcadia had missed him the most too though she was more than grateful to have been able to stay with Meliodas
