"honest! I saw it with my own 2 eyes" The man says loudly as he looked down at his new drink that a tavern waitress had given him " i swear on everything that is holy.  It was the wondering rust knight that i saw out there"

"maybe i shouldn't have given you another drink because by the sounds of it, you have already had too many" the girl says over her shoulder to the man as she places another drink down in front of someone else 

"but i did see it" the man says back to her

"yeah, it seems that it has really been on everyone's mind lately" another man says 

"come on, they are just made up stories that people made up to scare their children into behaving" another man says with a smug look on his face

"well i guess your parents never tried that tactic did they?" the waitress says with a smirk as she looks over at the man which causes him t glare over at her but she just laughs it of, her laugh being contagious to basically everyone around her

"if you don't do what i tell you, then one of the eight deadly sins will come for you in blood rusted armour" the man says in a deep voice and then makes a little ghost noise afterwards which causes the men around that table to laugh also 

"wait the seven deadly sins?" Meliodas and the waitress both ask with shock in their eyes, no one had been saying anything about the seven deadly sins for a while, it had seemed like everything had cooled off and it was all forgotten 

"wait, you mean the two of you never heard of them? You two young tavern owners" a man says 

"their wanted posters are hanging everywhere like those over there" a man says and points over to the wall of the taverb which had a pin board with all eight of the sins pictures stuck up on the front though most of the pictures were quite inaccurate

"what was it? about ten years ago? The holy knights from all across the land were butchered so fast that they didn't even have time to defend themselves and the eight deadly sins are the ones who were responsible for it" a man says 

"are you sure?" the girl waitress asks as she sits up on the bench of the tavern with a drink in her hands and she takes a long sip of it before looking at one girl in particular, it was of a woman with long hair and looked to be in her mid 20s

"well from what i have been told, the way that the holy knights grand master was murdered was too gruesome for anybody to even look at" another man adds as he looks over at the girl "and it is said that the two captains Meliodas and Arcadia are the scariest of them all, they say the two of them have been together the longest and have brought down entire countries before"

"none of them have been caught yet have they?" A man asks as meliodas pours some more alcohol into the mans cup

"nope not a single one" the man replies 

"well i have heard rumours that they all have been dead for years now" a man says which causes the two tavern owners to grin

"of course they are dead, they have to be" A man says in a groggy voice "the new holy knights would never let them live after what they have done"

"yeah, you've got a point there"

"even now with the king sick in bed you can bet that the holy knights are still going to make sure that the kingdom and all of its people stay safe"

"but those notices that are up on the board get updated every single year, doesn't that mean that those seven criminals are still out there?"

"yeah well, some spooky knight walking around in rusty armour sounds pretty rediculous to me, come on"

"yeah, i guess that you are right"

Suddenly, the loud sound of metal clanging echoes from outside of the tvaern, causing every one to quickly look up and towards the door with fear clearly written all of each of their faces. The footsteps from outside kept on getting closer and closer

"that smells an awful lot like rust to me" Hawk says from next to the waitress which causes the girl to look down at the pig

"Damn piggy, you still manage to amaze me on your skills even though i already know how great you are... good job master" the girl says and pats the pig on the head with a big grin on her face

Suddenly the door slowly begins to open and the silhouette of knights armour shines through the doorway and then slowly begins to walk inside "the...seven...deadly...sins"

"its here" multiple men call out in fear and then a second later the tavern was practically empty, there was now only the rust knight, hawk, and the two tavern owners

"its okay master" the female says to the pig and pushes him behind herself protectively and meliodas and the girl step forward towards the knight

"now who are you" meliodas asks as he rests his hands on his hips and looks up at the knight who was taller than the two of them 

The knight didn't say anything and then it began to wobble and fell backward onto the ground causing their helmet to fly off. The two owners gasped and their jaws widend in shock as they looked down at the knight, it was a girl with silvery-white platinum hair and she was now unconscious against the ground

"this kid is one of the seven deadly sins" Hawk asks and steps closer towards the girl on the floor

"no way" the girl mutters and quickly steps forward towards the girl protectively before sending meliodas a look and they both look at each other with sad and confused eyes

"its her" they both say to each other and then the girl quickly picks her up and carries her upstairs before taking off the armour and placing the girls soft, unconscious boy on meliodas' bed

"i cant believe shes here" the girl mutters as she paced back and forth around the room "what am i saying, of course she is here, it happens every time. Every damn time" she says angrily while meliodas stays quite and looks at the girl on the bed and he felt like he wanted to break down though he didn't when he felt strong, warm arms wrap around him and his face was pulled into the girls chest

"its going to be okay melio" she mumbled softly to him
