#at his office

I was still oblivion about the situation and was only thinking to say him about Pete and me. I reached his office. It has been a long time I have seen his office. He used to make me work here so that I can learn about his company and continue to manage it. His manager and the valet was standing near the gate I gave my keys to the valet and entered with the manager. "Good morning master Terry. Boss is waiting for you. " "How many time should I say you Mr William to call me only Terry" "Master but when you are in this office Boss said to call you master so that the others would know you are the future CEO" "Mr William you know that I hate here since the first day. It was at least little relaxing because you were there. So kindly call me Terry" Mr William is the longest working person with my old man. He is trustworthy and was with me when I was forced to work here. In fact he did all the work but let me took the credit. I quitted last year and told him about my plans. But my old man wants to do what he wants or else he will send me abroad. "So what's the matter Mr William why is he calling me in his office?" "Master Terry you will get to know when you reach there" Mr William was being as polite as he can be. Is he being monitored? I thought. It means I have to be extra careful. We reached near an elevator and two buff man were standing behind me and Mr William bowed to me and went the other way. "What the heck!"

Two buffy men were standing behind me I was perplexed "what the heck!" They took me in the elevator and pressed the top floor button. I tried to remain calm. The elevator door opened and I exit out leaving those men outside. I took a deep breath and opened the door and saw my old man sitting on a chair facing towards the wall. "I'm here" I said he turned around. " Have a sit first" I sat while crossing my legs on his desk and said, "Why did you call me here? I am busy say what you wanna say" I was not afraid this time and spoke confidently. "Hmm I know, you know what I am gonna say. You are getting engaged after 3 weeks with Veronica. And you have to sign this contract" "What did you say? What the heck have you ever consult me with anything have you ever asked me if I want to get marry or not" I was furious but my old man was calm. That was the most dangerous side of him. "We have planned everything you can't deny the proposal. I have send my men behind you and I know you have noticed it too. Don't you dare to deny me or disappoint me or else you know what I can do" I was exasperated I stood up banging on his desk, "I will not marry her you can do whatever you want I am leaving and will never enter this office again" "I know about your friends, your bar and your roommate. Terry I am your father I know you since you were child I know how your friends are dear to you" "Don't you dare call yourself my father you don't deserve to be one you don't know anything if you know me you would have not forced me to do things from childhood and you wouldn't have forced me to marry that plastic doll. And don't touch my friends I am warning you I am not the same old person" I stormed out without seeing his face. I was desperate by what he said. I was concerned for my friends and more about Pete. Did he knew about Pete? I have to keep him safe from this man. I went to the parking lot and took my car from the valet and drove to the university to meet Pete

I was about to reach university my mind was bewildered by his words. What does he mean? He will harm Pete and my other friends if I don't marry Veronica? Why is he forcing me to marry her? I know my old man he won't do things unless that things benefits him. I reached college and parked my car. I thought to stand in the parking lott as I knew we will meet here. I was waiting for him but found Veronica. I was trying to hide from her but she caught me "Babbbesss I am here" Fuck! She saw me I turned around and she was right behind me "Babes are you here to pick me? I knew you meant nothing what you said this morning I knew you love me too you are mine" Her obsession is really scary if she knew about me and Pete she would definitely harm him it's just better to hide about us. "Babes what are you thinking? Are you thinking about me?"she snapped me out of my thoughts " N-no and stay away from me please" "Why you don't love me babes" And there we go again "it's just I have a cold so stay away from me" "Ohhkey and did you heard about our engagement we are going to get engage I am excited are you?" Even she knew about this and It had been kept secret from me. What type of parents I have who does what they want not bothering what their one and only son wants. And where is Pete I have been waiting for him what's taking him so forever? "Babes why are you day dreaming in middle of our conversation?" "Can you leave me alone?" "Babes why can't you talk nicely to me we are soon going to be engaged and aah-" And her drama starts"Babes something went inside my eyes it's paining Ahh do something" I thought to help her so that she will just go home without bothering me. I blew air in her eyes "Babes come closer and blew it's still paining" This plastic doll is so irritating. I stepped closer and blew air. "That's it I am not doing anymore aah what the fuck!" She rubbed her eyes so much that her mascara spreaded and she was scarier than before "J-just go and wash your face at home" "Aww babes thank you" "Yeah you should go now" Suddenly I saw the boy who is always with Pete and pick a fight with me once. I moved towards him and asked, "Hey where is Pete?" "You again why do you want to know about Pete?" said Mike.Looking at him was already making me frustrated so I grabbed his collar and said "You just tell me where is he?" He grabbed my collar too and said "No I won't I know you want to harm him again and I am his best friend I won't let you harm him" What did I just heard? He is Pete's best friend just a "best friend" I was so relieved after what he said, "ohh don't worry I won't hurt him. You are his best friend right? Just best friend" "WTH yeah I am his best friend and I won't tell you where is he" "Ohh never mind you can leave" "I am warning you do not harm Pete or lay finger on him or else" "Don't worry why will I harm him I li-" "You what? " "No nothing" What the- I was about to say him that I like Pete I should be more careful. "Oh never mind you can go" "You are really a psycho stay away from him my eyes are on you....only you" I was relieved atleast Pete has someone other than me who can protect him and he is just his "friend" I waited for Pete till there was no one in university. "Where the heck is he? I think I should go to the dorm he will be there definitely" but again my phone rang and Mark needed my help soI have to meet him. But what about Pete I will meet and tell him everything tonight then. Let's go and work hard and earn money to make wifey happy. This thoughts really cheered me up. Pete has really changed me a lot. I will be missing him again.
