Ender's POV
I moved away from the group, ordering the squids inside to get their costumes on. Then i lead my victims inside, grinning, my eyes glowing a dark red-purple. I brought them to my dungeon, which didnt really look like a dungeon. I got Bob to watch them while I went to my office to get the status report on the squid, Joe, that was going to kill the other humans and hybrids. "I can't do it..." He said. i saw that he was by the river, the humans huddling together nearby. I stared at him. "What do you mean?" I demanded, gripping the screen of the iPad, the walkie talkie glued to it. "I'm a hybrid... a squid-human..." He said, shapeshifting to a human, then a human with squid like tentacles. I gasped. "But... Why did you join the squid team?" I felt tears forming in my eyes. Joe was my strongest soldier. If Bob wasn't so smart and loyal, I would choose Joe as my deputy. "I fell in love with Queen Carol..." Joe said quietly, turning to a squid again. Queen Carol was my adopted mother, friend, and mentor.She was queen before me, but Sky killed her. I sighed. "I will stay with your army, but I refuse to kill." He said, looking at Sky's Recruits. "None of the other squids shall kill. We will only kidnap. If they die in the dungeon, so be it. We still wouldn't be blamed for murder." I concluded. "Bring the recruits. They shall stay with the others." I walked back down to the Dungeon. "More recruits are coming to... explore. You can sleep in the spare room, it is next to mine at the end of the hallway." I said, then went to my room and fell asleep.
