Calum found empty seats in the airport. It was super busy.
'This must be a popular day to travel' he thought to himself.
The others followed minutes later with snacks and drinks. They sat down beside Calum and started eating. Michael noticed something different about Luke.
"You ok dude?".
"Yeah........" he let his voice trail off.
Ash raised his eyebrows at him. Luke noticed this.
"Ok fine, I just can't shake the feeling that something is gonna happen to Jenn while we're gone. I mean she hasn't answered her texts at all. She never doesn't reply to me".
"Dude, it is 2:00am, she's likely gone to bed now. She looked exhausted when we left" comforted Ashton.
"Yeah that's true".
"Why don't you text Jack? I'm sure he's still with her. Remember he said that she could stay with him & Ben while we're gone" added Calum.
Luke's eyes lit up.
"Of course, why didn't I think of that!!!!!!!!".
He sent the text and then waited a few minutes. His phone made noise and he looked down right away and a smile spread across his lips.
"She's sleeping, you were right Ashton".
"I know my sister" he laughed.
Satisfied, Luke put his phone into his pocket and he proceeded to finish his bag of chips and his pop.
They kept watching the tv for anything decent to come on for them to watch. It was just boring news. The all put their headphones on except for Luke. The news reporter broadcasted:
"We have our first attack from the Australian Stalker, it appears that he now has a sidekick with him. The attack happened about an hour ago. The only information that we have at this time is that the hostages are a male and a female. More information will be announced as it becomes available".
He slugged the other guys making them take off their headphones.
"What's up man?" asked Michael.
He pointed to the tv.
"The Australian Stalker struck tonight, both a male and a female though. Different from the times before. Although this time he's got a sidekick as well though" Luke said.
"I hope they catch them soon. Poor people must be terrified. I hope he/they don't harm them" added Calum.
"At least you know that Jenn & Jack are safe" added Ash.
"Yeah definitely. I'd be going into a crazy panic mode had Jack not texted me back".
They others nodded in agreement.
A half hour later a voice came over the loud speaker.
"Passengers on flight 501 to New York City, it is now your time to board".
"That's us" Michael said excitedly. "Let's go!!".
Luke laughed shaking his head.
"Let's go guys and don't forget to bring the 5 year old with us".
Michael ignored him and skipped to the line of ready to board passengers. They made it onto the plane and we're just getting ready for take off, not realizing the trouble they were leaving behind them.
