I awoke with a growing pain in my side, my vision blurred. Once my eyes adjusted to the dim, silent room I tried to lift up my arms but I couldn't l, they were strapped down to the platform I lay on. I looked up and noticed the single light in the room shined above me with a dim glow. I glanced down at my lying body and noticed I was shirtless. I then noticed I was weak. So weak I could barely move. Too weak to use my ability.
"Well well, I have to say so myself I am impressed" said a creepy voice in the dark.
"Where am I?" I replied
"Oh sorry where are my manners. Your in my, let's say here is the place where I play with my little toys. Do you want to see one?"
"I don't want anything that has to do with you!" I said bitterly
"Wrong answer."
The mysterious figure grabbed something off the dark shelf and turned toward me. Once he got into the small area where light was I saw his wrinkled face that was ugly from age.
"Lets try this one" said the man
He took the spear like object in his hand, raised it up over my body and to my surprise gently lowered it down. Once it touched my stomach, he clicked a button of some sort. Then just felt a pain in my whole upper body. My muscles started to shake. After the longest five seconds of my life he lifted the item back up.
"It works" he said studying the gadget. Then setting it back on the table
"I will be back!" He yelled as he walked back into the darkness.
After around five minutes the pain went away and I could focus on escaping. Then I remembered it. Me and Skyler always had a emergency signal on us. Mine was a ring, and Skyler's is a ear ring. I looked down at my hand, thank god it was still there. Now all I needed to do was make it come off. My ring has sensors in it. So when I take it of without disabling the alarm it will send a signal to Skyler. I took my middle finger and bent it to try to get the ring off. After about two minutes of struggling the ring finally came loose. Then it slipped off and landed on the ground with a quiet ring.
Now all I had to do was wait.
