Five days after the escape.
"I'm going back."
"No your not Zack! Remember, you almost died last time." Skyler yelled at me
"I have to stop them." I exclaimed
"You don't have to stop them. Someone else will."
"But what if someone doesnt what will happen to the city!"
"We will survive through the attack, with are abilities."
"But what about everyone else in the city? Do there life's not matter? And yea we have abilities but most other people don't. So let's use them."
"Abilities don't stop a bullet Zack."
"Yea but they can't shoot me if they can't see me."
"Whatever"
"I'm leaving tomorrow and don't try to stop me, unless you are coming. Really overall it's hard to shoot someone if a flaming girl of death is behind them."
"Fine. I'm not going to let you have all the fun."
"It's not going to be terrible hard. I mean we've been in the base before, and now I have you for immediate reinforcements." I smiled at the word reinforcements.
"So I'm considered reinforcements now."
"Yep"
She frowned as I walked down into the basement or as I call it my lab. I turned around and motioned her to follow. I walked down the stairs and turned on the light and walked over to the small table that had a project I have been working on for the past few days. I picked one of the watch looking gadgets up.
"See this here, this is something that might just save your life. Let me explain. In the font of this watch is a laser pointer. Now what you do is aim the pointer and click the left button, it teleport you to where the laser is. But the only bad thing is, you can only do it once because it fries the watch. The right button sends a adrenaline dose through your system causing you to explode with energy for around thirty minutes, that might save your life. I can't show you because I don't want to fry it. And don't worry I've tested it before it's perfectly safe... Hopefully."
"So you want me to take one of these."
"Yes. We're leaving somewhere around five or six tomorrow. Sound good."
"I don't know, does it." She said sarcastically.
