Chapter 2- Escape

I knew when Skyler arrived when I heard explosions and screaming coming from the outside rooms. It took her about five minutes to find me.

"My God Zack! What happened to you." She yelled as she ran at me.

"I.. got shot... and electrocuted. I can't move." I told her

She undid the straps and helped me up. I shifted about half of my weight on her so I could walk. We made it out the door in three minutes. When we made it out the door I saw three more men running towards us.

"We've got company" she said

She sat me against the wall and turned into a walking weapon. She punched one of the men in the stomach sending him flying across the room. Then she spun around and burned the next guy. Then the last tried to flee but Princie ran towards him and tackled him, then threw five rapid punches to his face. Then she got up dusted of her hands and went to help me up.

"Lets go" she said

Once we were out the second room I was getting in the hang of walking again. That made us move a lot faster. We turned the third corner and ran into, a robot. It must have been around eight feet tall. It swung its gigantic fist at us, Skyler pushed me out of the way and the first hit her.

"Skyler!" I screamed

And that moment must of triggered it, something inside me exploded. I jumped up and sprinted towards the robot. It threw another punch at me, I dodged it by stepping to the left then, in a half bend I leaped up into the air landed on its shoulders. And in unbelievable strength I ripped the robots head off. I jumped down from its shoulders and ran over to Skyler.

"All you alright" I asked

She made no response. Now that I was pumped full of adrenaline I lifted her up and started to run towards the exit that the robot was blocking. I opened the door and ran out into the city.

I turned around and saw, that we where at the sushi restaurant that closed down. About two minutes into walking Skyler could walk again and we walked the rest off the way. When I got to my house my mom came rushing towards us and I told her that I fell and cut myself up and Skyler said the same. I didn't tell my mom about the bullet hole. After I tended to the cuts I showered. Trying to wash off any dirt near the cuts or blood. Other than the cuts the weird guy at the sushi restaurant cleaned the bullet wound and dug the bullet out the bullet out. I got out of the shower and walked to my room. If I was going to defeat these guys, I need to know more about them.
