A homeward I'm goin
To my homeland I go
There's beauty in the place
That you belong ya know
A homeward I'm goin
To my homeland I go
To a place that is bright
With a golden glow
It's calling my name
It's singing me home
Saying, "this is the place
You belong ya know"
Its ever spring time there
Always cheery and bright
A draught of cold water
To the travellers sight
Thus homeward I'm goin . . .
Oh homeward I'm bound
Oh homeward I go
To a place that is bright
With a golden glow
Though weary and worn
My pace I won't slow
For I know I'll arive
To the place which I go
