Live in that Tree
August 11
Child, be quiet and distraction free
For hummingbirds abide within this tree
To those who are gentle and protect their home
These small mystic birds their faces have shown
Let's sit here my child, be silent still
And be watching my lead, for I have much skill
Any odd-shapen stick, unmoving leaf
Could be what we seek, of disguises they're chief
Look where the sun falls, it'll shine off their backs
But it'll shine through the leaves, reflection these lack
Now all that is left is to sit and to wait
These creatures we'll see, so serene and ornate
