(F/N)'s POV

Where am I?

I started to wake up, I was on a cold floor when I opened up my eyes. All of my surroundings were dark, although I could see my whole body as if there was any light coming from somewhere.

What am I doing here?

I started to walk around, looking for an exit, but it just a waste of time.

How did I get here?

As I thought about that, all the blank space was rapidly tainted to white, and the warm light starting to surround me as I closed my eyes, due to the brightness of the light.

Opening up my eyes back, I appeared in the middle of

... Funeral?

Looking down my body, I noticed that my clothes were very messy. It was not correctly buttoned, leaving most of my body discovered; I had no longer have the badge that Eri made for me during my birthday as the present...

Back at the funeral part, why was I here? I was stepping on a tomb and when I realized it, I immediately jumped out from it, apologizing to everyone that was there, but for some reason they ignored me.

Shrugging it off, I started to scan all the people in there. All had black suits or dresses but what surprised me the most were some people that were among the multitude. My mutant brothers and sisters, the neighborhood was here along with Isabel and Eri, everyone inside the multitude was crying.

Curiosity got the most of me and I looked at the name that was written on the tomb...

Eh?

Here lays,

(F/N) Lehnsherr

A devoted husband, a loving father, and a savior

But, I'm not dead, am I?

Out of panic, I rushed to hug Isabel, the woman that I loved the most, but when I got to her, I just went through her, literally speaking. I do not influence the material world. I tried multiple times, screaming her and Eri's name but with no avail. Fear ran through my veins along with the adrenaline that didn't allow me to cry.

Finally, after some time trying, I gave up. I was really dead, but how?

Ah, I remember it.

I lead the mutants and the humans that with our side to battle Union and victory is ours but at a certain point during the battle, I have been betrayed and been killed by someone that I trust as a best friend, as my own brother that I have known for a long time...

''Goodbye, old friend...''

It can't be...

But at least, I'm glad to die in his hand rather than anyone else...

Time Skip

The Sun was starting to hide while everyone started going. Everyone left, but one person stood there, still crying all alone.
