What looked to be something gem-like, was planted in the center of the stump. I'm not one for rock facts, but I know I've never seen anything like it before. I was filled with curiosity, and decided to take a closer look. Approaching the gem, I noticed that it was, very, very, shiny. I felt hypnotized, I was completely captivated by it, and my hand seemed to move on its own. My pointer finger reached out to touch it, and with the slightest contact to the gem, gave me a quick electric sensation. I had little to no consciousness, everything was all but a blur, and in what felt like slow motion, I fell to the ground. I'm not sure how long I laid there, but I felt something touching my arms, "Am I being poked?"I thought to myself. I felt a continuous tap on my shoulder, waking me up. My eyes slowly opened, only to find an enormous chickadee. Though I slightly noticed it had the patterns of a chickadee chick. I was way too excited by my find, I quickly searched my pockets for my journal, so quickly that it fell through my stumbling hands. Once looking downward, I thought "Did those rocks get bigger?". Everything looked so different, and the ground seemed rockier. Seconds after noticing these changes, I realized I had shrunk. I think this feeling is what people call 'soul leaving your body'. I thought I was going to faint right then and there, and turning around to find the huge bird again, confirmed it, but right before I closed my eyes, I felt myself being shaked back and forth, and faint voices filled my head.
