Lunarsong's hand scours through her bag of supplies, sunlight filtering through the many cracks littering the ruin she and her allies were in. She spares a split second to look at the injured demon hunters before her. All were still in horribly mangled states, despite her best efforts to repair their wounds, but her skills didn't help whatever was left of their mental states.

She wished to Elune it did.

Some wounds fully healed, some left scars, but others did irreversible damage, despite a healer's best efforts. She was glad she learned that at a young age when she was still clueless and innocent, always taken advantage of. She looked back to her mate and daughter, the two demon hunters exchanging conversation and laughing, and she couldn't help but smile despite the malevolent echo to the laughter. Courtesy of their demons, no doubt.

Tehlmar met her gaze before nudging Lilyura with his elbow, the two once again exchanging a hushed conversation before the demon huntress stood up, walking over to the druidess as she worked. Lunarsong absently raised a hand to her daughter's black hair, taking a strand of it into her fingers and smiling sadly. "I think I liked your hair more when it was longer and midnight blue..."

"Because it reminds you of when you were younger, Min'da?"

Mother.

"Perhaps," Luna replied softly, absently. "Perhaps..." She hadn't heard that word in so many years, and it took everything she had to not break down into a complete sobbing mess. She was grateful for Lilyura for not pressing any further, and for being a comforting presence to the druidess, despite her being able to sense the struggling, malevolent soul of a demon deep within her daughter. The demon huntress gingerly placed a hand on the roll of bandages, holding it up to Luna.

"May I help, Min'da?"

"Always, my sweet lilypad." Lilyura smiles at the nickname, replacing the bandages on one of the other demon hunters broken leg, chatting excitedly with her mother. Luna swallowed slightly after a few minutes of conversation. "Lily, why...why did you and your father become demon hunters?" Her daughter, and even Tehlmar a few feet away, tensed at the question. "Lily?" Luna pressed gently, laying a hand comfortingly on her daughter's own. Lilyura's head swiveled to look at her, and despite not being able to see her eyes behind the thick blindfold she wore, Luna could still tell she was afraid.

"We..." Lilyura hesitates, running her claw-like nails through her short black hair. A nervous habit she's had ever since she was a child, Luna recognized. "We were manipulated. We saw horrible, horrible visions of what the future could become, alternate paths to what could've become reality in the past." She looks toward Tehlmar. "Father saw visions of you dying during the War of the Ancients or the third war," she hesitates again. "You hating us for what we would become. What we have become."

"Lily," Luna began gently, rubbing Lilyura's hand with her thumb and pulling her daughter's close, rocking her gently in her arms as the demon huntress began to sob silently into her chest. "I would never hate you or your father for what you've become... You may have literal demons within you, but I love you both the same, if not more, because of it." She runs her fingers through her daughter's hair, planting a kiss into it. "I love you both more than anything in Azeroth, nothing will ever change that, and I will do anything in my power to protect and help you both. That's why I'm here after all." She pulls in Tehlmar as well, grinning from ear to ear as she hugs her family tightly, reveling in their warmth she had nearly forgotten.

She looks back down to the injured demon hunters before them, a frown tugging at her lips. "We need to get them to safety before we go find Cyana." Separating from her family's embrace, she went out of the ruins and put her fingers to her lips, whistling for her hippogryph.
