A Light Irregularity (Mina Ashido x OC) MHA Insert

Chapter 1: Get Up!

A/N: I'm deciding to write some of the intro as well, just because. I thought it'd be cool.

Intro Start: The intro starts with shots of All Might with his back to Midoriya, who stands up to look at him. As he's admiring his idol, he goes and reaches for him, to which it cuts to a panel with the words "Plus Ultra" on it. After that, it shows photographs of Class 1-A with their hero costumes on. Uraraka is first, followed by Iida, then Bakugou, then Tsuyu, then Kirishima, and then Rizumu, who's holding a neon dagger in his hand in the same pose as his brother, but with the opposite arm. Another panel of "Plus Ultra" is shown, then with Mineta, Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, Jiro, Sero, Tokoyami, and Aoyama in their hero costumes. A panel of "Academia" is shown next, followed by Ojiro, Mina, Sato, Shoji, Koda, Hagakure, and Todoroki. (The rest of the intro doesn't change until a certain point.) After Midoriya jumps into the air, it cuts to Uraraka using her quirk in the air, then Iida doing a kick, Mineta being caught by Tsuyu using her tongue, Todoroki using his ice to glide through the air, then a portal with a neon green outline appears with the Eijiro brothers coming out of of it and using their quirks together, with Kirishima activating his hardening and Rizumu creating a dagger, then Bakugo using his explosion. The intro ends with a group shot of Class 1-A, with Rizumu being in between Bakugo and Shoji jumping forward through the portal behind him.

"Bro! We gotta wake up!"  

Rizumu yells as he lays facing the ceiling in his bed. He has just woken up, and started his day by doing a 1 minute plank. Just as something he always did. After that, he threw a portal in his room to his brother's seeing that he was still asleep (Think of Blink's portals from the X-Men but with green instead of purple). Smirking, he formed a throwing knife and threw it at his brother's bed with a loud "THUNK", waking him up. "It's not manly to be late to an important place!" 

"Right, right..." He says tiredly as he wakes up, and the knife fades into the air. "What time is it?" He says as he goes to his closet to get his school uniform and what he'd wear for the entrance exam.  

"It's almost 7. If we leave by 8, we can catch the train and get there with time to spare." Rizumu responds as he does the same. "Either that, or we could do plan B." He said, referring to his quirk. 'And I can maybe see Mina before then...' 

The Eijiro brothers and Mina Ashido had an interesting relationship. They went to school together at Musutafu Private Middle School, and it was actually Kirishima who met Mina first, and when Rizumu learned that she was one of the people who inspired him to change, he took that to heart, and wanted to be better too. Ever since that day, he had developed a crush toward her, not known to her or his brother yet. 

That he knew.

"I would prefer plan B." The older brother said while flopping back down on his bed, not having changed yet. 

"I knew you would. What do you want for breakfast?" The younger brother asked with the portal still open, hoping for a less-than-complicated answer as he finished packing his bag. 

"Surprise me." The older brother replied, with his bag packed as well. 

"Aight." He said bluntly as he closed the portal and went to make breakfast. A simple bowl of oatmeal and raisins was enough for that morning. Kirishima arrived in the kitchen, and as the brothers ate, they talked about  how excited they were to take part in the entrance exam. They talked about some of their combinations together, and what they speculated life would be like if they got in. 

Kirishima looked at the clock, and realized that they only had half an hour before the orientation began, so the brothers got their shoes on, Rizumu got his earbuds, and then threw a portal from their kitchen to U.A. Their mom noticed, however, and made it clear. 

"What did I say about portals in the house, Rizumu?" She said from down the hall, her voice clearly laced with annoyance.

"Sorry!" He replied. 

"We're going to the entrance exam!" Said Kirishima. "We'll be back later!" 

"Good luck!" Said their mom, who came from around the corner, in her work attire. Their mom was a P.I., and was good at it too, as her quirk was called Recollection. After she touched something, she could see the last 24 hours of what had happened to it. 

After the boys said their goodbyes, they jumped through the portal to the front of U.A. 

"Well, here we are." Said Kirishima nervously as the portal closed behind them. 

"Bro, we'll be fine." He said as he held his arm up for a bro handshake with a determined smile. Kirishima looked at it, then took on the same smile and joined hands with his brother. 

"Yeah." He said, before the two went inside.
