Y/n went out of her room, alone again. Her parents left her without anything, a goodbye, food even money.
They just left her in a cold empty house.
Thank god there was still food in the fridge.
"let's see" she said as she opened the refrigerator.
"spaghetti? From three days ago uh okay...." Y/n thought about it being rotten or something, but she smelled it and took a good look at it.
"seems fine to me" she said shrugging it off.
She sat down at their dining table, all alone.
She started twisting the spaghetti on her fork, slowly. Then started poking her food and just staring at it.
As she started to feel herself cry, tears started falling down her cheeks.
She didn't know why she was crying, she didn't know what was the reason.
Was it her parents leaving her again?
Was it because her only food left was spaghetti that was from three days ago?
Or because she was alone?
"i can't s-stand it a-anymore." she whispered as she sobbed.
The sky started to cry too, a thunder storm was coming.
Oh how Y/n hated thunder storms, it triggers her panic attacks. It scares her.
Y/n and the sky were crying together, the sound of pain and sadness were heard all of over the house.
Until she heard a knock on the door.
She quickly wiped off her tears, went to the sink to wash off her face.
She went to the door, opening it to reveal her friends.
Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, Max and Eleven.
"what a-are yo-you guys do-doing here?" she asked a little bit harshly.
"hello to you to, Princess." Dustin said as the four entered her home.
"n-no, seriously what are you doing here?"
"we know your parents left you on purpose again, Y/n." Mike told her putting down his backpack and sleeping bag.
Y/n scratched the back of her neck shyly as everyone looked at her.
"H-how did you find out?"
"Will told us, he saw your parents leaving in a rush. And we just heard you having a duet with the thunder storm. So we decided to come over here-" Lucas was interrupted by a loud strike of thunder heard outside Y/n's home, she felt herself jump a little bit as she also felt a hand holding hers, it was Mike's. "and try to watch over you while they're gone. We just can't dare to sleep knowing that our sister was alone in her castle again. " Lucas finished smiling at Y/n.
"we-we're gonna sleep here for tonight, if it's okay with you?" Mike asked looking at Y/n as he felt himself blush.
El started fixing her stuff, while Max did the same smiling at Y/n nodding at her.
"of course guys, i-it really means alot." Y/n said smiling back.
She wasn't alone anymore.
"PARTY TIME!" Will shouted making them all laugh.
As the kids enjoy the night watching random movies and shows they find on Y/n's television, prank calling restaurants, eating food that the boys brought and playing D&D all night they finally went to rest.
Y/n finally lay her body down at her bed, smiling to herself as she stared at the glow in the dark stickers that were on her ceiling.
"good night guys, thank you." Y/n said looking at the stars, that she named after her friends' names.
"good night princess"
"sleep tight Y/n"
"love you!"Y/n woke up from her sleep, remembering that night.
It was today.
She quickly got ready.
"good morning mommy!" a little girl said, running to her hugging her tightly.
"hi baby, where's everyone?"
"they're outside mommy"
Y/n smiled, she went out seeing none other than Lucas, Will, Dustin, Max and Eleven.
"hi guys!" Y/n said smiling at everyone.
"hey Y/n" Max and Eleven said hugging Y/n.
"let's go?" Lucas asked.
"let's go."
They went to the place, feeling cold air brush on their skin.
"how long has it been?" Eleven asked Y/n.
"two years." she whispered, smiling lightly.
They went in front of the grave.
"here lies, Michael L/n Wheeler."
"hi daddy!" their daughter, Princess said sitting next to it."do you miss him?" Max asked, patting the girl's back.
"so much." Y/n replied.
"mommy, what was that story you told me about again, when you guys were young?" Princess asked.
"oh that night?"
"yes mommy" the little girl smiled, the sun was glistening her cheeks showing her freckles that always reminded Y/n so much of Mike.
"your father was my angel." Y/n whispered smiling.
"everyone here was" Y/n said pointing at her friends.
"they were always there when I needed them the most, and I'm forever grateful for that."
