A heavy rainfall had coated the darkening skies as the car came to an abrupt stop. Classic hadn't been prepared, his body launching forward into the seat. His groaning filled the car as the driver stepped out. They circled the car before Classic's door was pulled open, rough hands tugging him from the cars safety. His legs weren't ready to catch himself, his body hitting the pavement. Biting at the pain, he struggled to climb to his feet. The chains around his wrists jingled with each movement, a reminder he was far from free.
"Hurry the fuck up!" A hand grabbed his hood before picking him up and tossing him over the car. His body hit hard, a yelp leaving him as he remained face down on the wet pavement. Every inch of him ached as his clothing became drenched. A chill ran through him as he finally tried to sit up. Obeying the figure before him, Classic rose to his feet. His legs shook beneath him, threatening to drop him once more. Ignoring the feeling, he slowly moved toward the school gates. The figure yanked against Classic's hood to stop him from moving further.
He stood completely still as the figure typed a code and pushed the heavy metal open. The gates squealed, Classic covering his skull from the sound. He could hear the figure snicker at his pain, but pushed his anger aside as he followed inside the school grounds. Inside there was a vast yard left abandoned. Classic knew the rain didn't help when it came to remaining in the outdoors. They moved silently along the path, Classic glancing back briefly as the gate automatically closed. The sound startled him, a shiver trailing his thin frame. Calming himself, he hurried to catch up to avoid any more harm to him. He was fragile and while the figure knew that, there was not a single care in the man's actions. He almost seemed to enjoy hurting others.
Upon entering the building, Classic felt his breath hitch. He was far from a people person. Seeing numerous skeletons, humans, and other creatures shook him to his core. So many others had been forced into this hell for actions that might not have been their fault. A frown pulled over his features as he pulled his hood up. He was hoping to avoid notice, but the tall figure and the chains didn't help his cause. He could hear mumbling, but decided best to block it out.
"Ah, Mr. Wilson! I see you've brought our newest in one piece, congrats." The words drew Classic's gaze as fear laced his every move. The figure frowned before turning on his heels.
"Whelp, I've a job to do. He is in your hands headmaster! Have a wonderful day and I do hope we never have to meet again." The older woman nodded, her eyes giving threatening airs to Mr. Wilson.
"I as well hope to never see that smug face of yours. Have a splendid day and don't trip on your way out!" Classic felt completely confused. What had happened? The figure was super aggressive, yet the older lady was more like a grandmother. "Well, let me look at you. I know he must have harmed you, so please take a seat while I finish your schedule."
Classic nodded as he slid into the chair. The cushions left a comforting feeling around him as he sunk into the chairs embrace even more. The lady seemed to notice, a gentle smile pressed to her features. She held her voice firm, yet laced in sincerity and kindness.
"Now, as I have understood from your background, you have a brother back at home. Most of the kids here have family in the outside world. Your father... Well, lets avoid that topic in this moment. Other than your brother, you have no remaining family. At least none known by authorities. I am going to be honest Classic. With your past, this stay is supposed to be permanent. Many children here have done bad deeds that cost them their freedom. Even so, I can tell you're a good kid. No matter what happened in the past, I'll make a deal. Remain here for four years without trouble and I will personally sign you off. In four years you will be free once more and can live with your brother. I'm giving you a chance that the government wouldn't. Lucky for you, I hold more power then them." Hesitation crossed Classic as he observed the outstretched hand. Slowly he took it, the older lady smiling in a polite manner. "Good. Now that we have solved that issue, I will hand you the schedule. The school may be big, but I believe you'll find your way. I shall also explain the rules, so listen well. Classes are to be attended on time. If you are absent or late, a mark will be placed on your name. Once five have tallied up in one specific class, it becomes a strike and punishments are dished out. Fighting is forbidden, though rough housing is allowed if moderated correctly. Lunch will only be eaten in the cafeteria or courtyard. We must be able to keep tabs on you all, so no funny business. Lock downs are every night at 10. If you are outside the rooms after 10, it deems automatic punishment. Lastly, you are allowed to remain in another's room for the night. I accept this rule mostly because socializing is important. We want you children to change, so we allow the boundaries to be stretched slightly. Also, I am aware relationships brew around the school, so I like to allow the couples time alone. Dorms are on the east side. That building is far larger than the main building, but it also allows separate rooms. Privacy is important as well. Other than everything I've listed, do you have any questions?"
"No..." Classic spoke low, hoping to avoid her hearing him. She seemed to notice he said something, but the volume was far too low. Sighing she rose from her chair, a piece of paper held out toward Classic. He took it cautiously before standing as well.
"Don't think of this school as a jail, okay? This place is to help you, so have fun. My name is Ying, headmaster of the school. If you run into worries or questions, come find me here and I shall answer to my knowledge." A slight nod caught her attention as she watched Classic hurry to the door. He pulled the wood away from the frame before slipping into the hall, leaving the headmaster alone in her office.
She had sat back in her chair, eyes peering to the papers before her. Classic was a mystery compared to others. His background was unknown and even his father was without a name. He mystified her. There was something big involving Classic, but she couldn't pinpoint what. Tossing the papers against the desk once more she released a heavy breath. Her voice was low as she mumbled to herself, a frown deep into her expression.
'What exactly happened to you... In order to drive you to the brink.'
Sorry for the short chapter. Think of this like a Prologue. The chapters after will be longer, that's for sure! There is a lot to cover in this story and tons of Sans to have hit on Classic!!! <3
