Youtubers are my sunshine, mom.

        I just got finished watching another video from my favorite youtuber, JC Caylen. I clicked to watch his recent one when my mom came into my room. "Time for dinner, Paige" My mom said. "Okay..mom."  I said, obviously annoyed. My mom lets out a sigh. " What are you always doing on that phone?" She said curiously. "Me and your dad got it for you, just so you can call us for emergancy purposes only." She added. "Ugh, MOM." "Don't you 'ugh mom me.' I want to know what you are doing." Next thing my mom grabbed my phone and looked at my screen. The JC video was still on. My mom was very offend. My mom always did stuff like this. She always wants me to make the honor rolls at school, be highly educated, blah blah blah. When honestly, that's not what I wanted. I just want to make youtube videos. "Who is this boy?" My mom said. "Stop, mom. He is just a youtuber don't worry.." I said trying to not sound like I wanted to rip her throught open. You see, moms never understand these things. She thinks I'm just watching some guy make silly videos. But, it's more than that. When my parents got divorced last year it took a big effect on me and my only escape was youtube. All these silly youtubers made sunlight out of a dark and cloudy situation. My mom just never understood that. "You know what? I'm taking away your phone for a week. You should know wasting your life watching guys talk about stupid things, is not how we raised you. I want a smart girl. Not, a girl who is going to grow up DUMB with no future." My mom yelled at me. "MOM" I cried. "Come down for dinner." She said, and walked out of my room. 

        I know, I should've came down for dinner that night but honestly I wasn't feeling it. My parents really crossed my line this time. I wish they understood my feelings, but unfortantely they don't.
