On the way home

Sam's P.O.V.

"I think Ava would win. Sorry Danny." I said. We were walking home from school talking about who would win in fight between Ava and Danny. "What do you think Pete?" He just shrugs off the question. "You okay Peter?" Luke asks, obviously concerned. Peter shrugs him off too.
"Hey Pete, can we talk... alone?" He calls out to the group to keep walking, which they do, talking about who knows what. Peter turn around to face me. "Wha-" I stop him with my lips. I end the kiss and I think he was about to kiss back. He looks at me with pure shock portrayed on his face. I blush. "Sorry I just-" my words are cut off by his finger. I look at him. "Sam, I love you." Joy floods through my face. I reach in to kiss him, and he returns the kiss happily.
