The door opened widely. My mom came in the nick of time. As soon as the door opened, Deborah disappeared.

"Cal! What happened to you?!" My mom exclaimed.

She hurried to me. She placed my head on top of her lap.

"What happened?" She asked, worried.

"Nothing. I just slipped and fell, I sprained my ankle. But I'm fine, mom. You don't have to worry." I assured her.

"No. You should have yourself checked. Let's go to the hospital."

"What? Mom, there's no need for it. I'm perfectly fine." I tried to get up to assure her that I'm fine but heck, I can't move my feet. The pain is agonizing.

"See? Don't you try to keep telling me that you're fine when I'm a hundred percent sure that you are not." She glared at me.  "Let's get you up." She helped me got up.

We went to the nearest hospital. The doctor who checked me said that I'll be fine. I just need to apply hot compress on my ankle and he also said that I should rest.

My mom decided to stay in the hospital for the night. So that I'll be able to rest my feet immediately.

I'm inside of a hospital room, lying on a hospital bed. Even though my ankle was sprained, my mind was out of it. My mind right now is full of thoughts because of Deborah's last words; "You are exactly what I want."

What does that mean?

"Cal." My mom cut my thoughts.

She's sitting on the sofa, then she got up and went to me.

"Do you want to eat? Are you hungry?" She asked.

I realized it's already seven in the evening. I didn't even thought about my hunger. I was too preoccupied with the things that's happening to me.

"Yes, mom. I'm hungry."

"Alright. What do you want to eat for dinner?"

"Chicken, rice, and orange juice." I smiled.

"Okay. I'll buy our food. Don't leave this room."

"How will I?" I pointed my finger at my sprained ankle.

"Right." My mom kissed my head.

My mother left me alone inside the room. Honestly, I'm scared. I'm not sure if Deborah can follow me here but there's a huge possibility.

I grabbed my phone from the side table and dialed Micaela's number.

Before I could say "Hello", she already asked how was I.

"Yes? Are you alright?" Micaela asked.

"Yup. I'm fine. If being in a hospital that is." I said sarcastically.

"What?! Hospital?! What the hell are you doing there, Cal?! What happened to you?!"

"Hey, calm down. You're over reacting." I chuckled to calm her down. I shouldn't have said that I'm in a hospital. Tsk.

"What are you doing there?!"

"I fell on the stairs and sprained my ankle. But the doctor said I'll be fine so stop worrying about me."

Micaela insisted that she wants to visit me. I told her there's no need to since I'm only staying here for the night. I know she won't let me win so in the end, I let her visit me.

"See you later. Bye." I dropped the call.

After a few moments of silence, suddenly, the bed slightly moved.

I took a deep breath and disregard the possibility that it can be Deborah.

But to my horror, it started moving so fast! My body can fell on the floor any time if I don't tighten my grip on the bed.

"Mom!" I screamed for help.

"Mom!"

What's taking her so long? I need her now! The bed won't stop moving. I'm already crying.

The moving lasted for quite a while. Once it stopped, I took that chance to get up from the bed and run outside of this room.

I had a hard time getting up because of my injured ankle. I am almost close to the door when I realized that someone is already by the side of it.

It's dark in the room and I can't see that person's face. But based on that person's body built, I can already tell who she is.

"What do you want from me?!" I confronted her. I'm tired of running away from her.

"You." Her voice sent me chills.

"What's with me that you wanted?!" I spat angrily.

I honestly have no idea of what's with me that she wants. It's frustrating to contemplate about it because I really can't think of any reason.

"I need your body."

What? She needs my body?

"Why? And why me? Out of all people?" I can't help but ask. This is ridiculous.

"I can see myself in you." She smiled creepily. "You are the perfect person who can finally continue what I've left before."

"You... You're a monster! You killed your own family! You killed innocent people! You're a monster. The reason why you don't have friends!"

She laughed after I finished what I said.

"That's why you are the perfect person who can do what I want. Right? Because like me, you also have no friends. You are alone." She flashed her creepy smile.

"I have friends!"

"Oh really, Cal? The people who backstabbed you? Who talks shit about you behind your back? Those are your friends?" She laughed mockingly.

"I have Micaela and my mother. I'm not alone. I'm never was and never will be!"

"Keep telling that yourself. Wait for it and I make those two leave you, too."

"What are you talking about?" I tried to sound brave even when my knees were wobbly.

"I'll kill that Micaela. And your beloved mother."

"You won't! I won't let you!"

"What can you do about it, Cal? Why do think is your mom still not here? And Micaela, she said she'll be here too, right? But where is she? Where do you think they are right now?"

"Leave them alone!"

"I will if you do as I say." She said mockingly.

Fuck this old bitch.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked. I need her to leave the people I love alone.

"Simple. Kill."

"What? You want me to kill people?!" This is unbelievable!

"That's what I do before, right? Like what you said? I kill innocent people. That's what you need to do."

"I won't do that!" I said firmly.

With my sprained ankle, I tried my best to get out from that room.

I tried to look for my mother but she's nowhere to be found. I look disgusting from crying.

I can't contact Micaela too because I left my things inside the room, including my phone.

I looked for something useful inside my pockets.

And there, I saw a small very useful thing.

"Thank you." I whispered to myself and I head off to the parking lot.
