"No, I didn't," I say picking up some of the popcorn and eating it.
I was supposed to tell Myles I was in love with him on our date yesterday but we had to leave because of an emergency.
"Well tell him during the party tomorrow." She says stuffing more popcorn in her mouth.
"Speaking of the party what are you going as?" I asked turning towards her.
"I don't know but I want Scott to match with me but he won't listen."
Chalice and I decided to throw a costume party for Halloween. Even though Myles was reluctant due to my family going M.I.A, but he eventually caved only if I have hundreds of guards and no masks allowed.
"Gurl...you know exactly what you have to do to get him to listen," I say giving her a side-eye.
"You know what." She says checking the time "He is on break right now so I'm going to go make it better." She says before getting up and skipping out of the room.
I sigh before checking the time. It's almost 12 o'clock in the morning and the Halloween party is tomorrow so I should get some sleep.
I clean up everything before turning lights out. I fall asleep to the sound of the Friends theme song playing.

It's almost time for the party and me and Chalice are getting ready in her room.
"Are you and Myles matching?" She asks looking at me for a quick second.
"Yep, but I'm not sure he knows what my costume looks like," I say look down at my costume before going back to my makeup.
Myles and I decided to dress up in a couples costume, along with Chalice and Scott
"Alright, we're done," Chalice says putting down her makeup brush.
I stand up from the vanity and go to put on my heels.
"Ooh, girl look at you. I don't know if Myles is gonna let you leave with that costume on" Chalice says walking around me.
"He better or I'm not marrying him," I say jokingly
"Alright let's go," she says walking out the door with me following after
We walk down to the entryway and see Myles and Scott waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs.
They look up at the sound of our heels on the floor.
"I-I don't think we should go," Myles says staring at me intently as I look at his costume.
