CHAPTER FIVE - ##ICE PACK

[ Outside of Funky Buddha, 9:05pm ]

NIALL: (groans) “Where the hell is Louis?”

LIAM: (angry) “He’s coming in a few minutes, now shut up!” (paces back and forth)

NIALL: “Get your head out of our ass.” (sits down on the curb, places head between his knees)

LIAM: “Get my head out of my ass?” (scoffs) “How about your get your’s out first! We wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for you!”

NIALL: (frantic) “So your blaming me now? If that ginger haired prick didn’t drop his beer on me, we wouldn’t be here by now.”

LIAM: (shakes his head) “I’m not going to even bother with you right now.”

   

    CAR PULLS UP 

LOUIS: (getting out of the car, slams door, walks over to niall and liam) “What the fuck happened now?”

NIALL: (stands up, dizzy) “This is what happened!” (points at his bruised face) “That twat started this whole situation.” (points at ed)

LOUIS: (rolls his eyes) “Liam, what actually happened here?”

LIAM: “I don’t — don’t know the whole story, but that guy over there and Niall got into a fight, don’t ask me why, I think it was because of a drink, but —” (clears throat) “I know for sure that Niall got his ass whopped tonight.” (chuckles)

NIALL: “Oh shut up Liam, god you’re a pain…anyways — what really happened was that shit dropped his drink on me and then told me to move, which was very rude, so his face meet my fist.”

LOUIS: (shakes his head) “Niall — you are really an idiot.”

ED: (walks over to louis and niall) “You really are an idiot like your friend said here.”

HARRY: (holds onto ed) “Come on Ed, the taxi’s going to be here any moment now.”

ED: (rolls up sleeves, grinds teeth) “I think you need another lesson.”

LIAM: (steps infront of niall) “Look buddy, as much as I want to see Niall get his ass whopped…again, we don’t want any more trouble.”

HARRY: (under his breath) “Ed we better go before anything new happens.”

ED: (shrugs harry away, looks at harry) “Just fuck off,kay?”

NIALL: (pushes liam to the side) “No, I actually would like to see what this is about.”

LOUIS: “Niall, this is enough! Do you want to get arrested?”

HARRY: (frustrated) “Look Ed, you’ve done enough today, and the taxi’s already here. Let’s go bud.”

ED: (nods, glares at niall) “You’re lucky this time.” (walks to the cab with harry, get’s inside)

NIALL: “Jesus—”

LOUIS: “Harry? Uh— Harry, can I talk to you for a minute.”

HARRY: (looks over at louis, surprised, walks over to him)

LIAM: “Come on Niall, get in the car.” (get’s inside car)

NIALL: (follows liam into the car)

HARRY: “I didn’t know you were here.Why didn’t you talk to me?”

LOUIS: “Uh— well this argument was going on between your friend and Niall…so I didn't really have a chance to talk to since now.”

HARRY: (nods) “So what do you need to talk about again?”

LOUIS: (flustered, rubs back of his neck) “Um, well I just wanted to know how you were doing actually…?”

HARRY: (grinning) “Not so good, you seem really uh flustered?”

LOUIS: (smiling) “I seem flustered? More like—” (turns around) “I better be going curly, before Niall does something crazy again. Bye.” (walks to his car)

HARRY: (waves at louis, walks back to the cab, get’s in)

ED: (groaning) “What took you so long?”

HARRY: “Stuff,um…excuse me, mister? Can you take us to the shop Lovely Petals?”

TAXII DRIVER: “Yeah, sure kid.”
