Karasuno, Fight!! (Haikyuu!! Choose Your Own Adventure)

Main Story 01: Nishinoya and Tanaka

𝙿𝙻𝙰𝚈: 𝙳𝚊𝚢𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚛 - 𝙳𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚛𝚝

You answered as many of the volleyball teams' questions as you could, but focused in especially on what Nishinoya and Tanaka had to say, mainly because of how overpowering their voices were compared to the rest of the crowd.

"So what made you want to move to Karasuno, Y/N?" Nishinoya asked eagerly.

"My parents were the first ones to bring it up." You said. You patiently recalled the details of your move, the uphill battle your parents won, the apprehension that filled your every vein when you first stepped foot onto campus. Before you knew it, you were bashfully recalling the moments of your first day, from your little pep talk (which Nishinoya and Tanaka laughed at) to Kageyama's shove to you and Hinata's fated meeting.

By the time you finished telling your story, you figured it would be a good idea to learn more about your starry-eyed seniors. Luckily for you, the length of your story gave you plenty of time to come up with your own questions to ask them.

"What made you two want to attend Karasuno?"

"Oh." Nishinoya scratched the back of his head, a glimmer of pride visible on his face.

"Honestly...I got lots of offers from other schools. Your senpai is pretty talented, you know!"

"But I came to Karasuno because the uniform make me look really cool. The volleyball uniforms look good too!"

You blinked. He must be joking...right? You were nothing short of taken aback by your senior's carefree nature, and moreso by how supportive Tanaka seemed of Nishinoya's reasoning. You watched the two of the boys fist bump, as if deciding what high school to attend solely based on clothing was some kind of genius move.

"And for me-"

Before you could hear Tanaka's own reasons for attending Karasuno, the sound of the bell shattered the calm, morning air. Tanaka deflated against Nishinoya as you apologetically bowed for having to leave in the middle of his sentence.
