Epilogue

 

“Faster Aps. We don’t want to miss this special event, wouldn’t we?” I heard him chuckle.

We are now on our way to her house. And not to mention, the most special event of her life is happening now and we, being her closest friends now, got to prepare something for her.  I have this crazy but perfect idea for the lovebirds. And this will certainly work. I know because it had worked for them ever since that day.

“Hurry up! We don’t want to be late.” the right way to pull me out in my reverie. And when the moment finally came, I saw her in her lovely pink long gown. It hugged her body and she looked stunning. Perfect for our dear friend here whose wearing a tux and is now trembling in nervousness. And that’s when I thought that we should start this courtship with the song ’Ever enough’ by A Rocket to the Moon.

No I’m never gonna leave you darling, no I’m never gonna go regardless.

Everything inside of me is leaving in your heartbeat.

Even when all the lights are fading, even then if your hopes are shaking, I’m here holding on.

 

I will always be yours, forever and more, through the push and the pull.

I’ll still drown in your love and drink till I’m drunk and all that I’ve done. Is it ever enough?

Dawn had the spotlight now and I can see her smiling with tears in her eyes. She slowly went down the stairs and her gaze is focused on the guy in front of the stage. Archie knelt down and that made her gasped and covers her mouth with eyes wide. Archie cleared his throat while we played the instrumental part of the song.

“I haven’t felt anything like this before until I met you. Until I saw you that night although the first impression you gave me was hurt—“that made everyone laugh.

 “But I have fallen in love at first sight with the most stunning, beautiful, amazing girl I have ever seen. Dawn Patricia Roberts, I know it’s a rough start for us but can we undo it all?”  Archie remained in his knees while waiting for Dawn’s answer. It was quiet for a minute when Dawn finally decided to speak and this time with a sweet and most genuine smile I have ever seen.

“Archie Patricio Salvador, nice to meet you.” Archie laughed at her statement and stood up. “Archie, this isn’t some kind of proposal isn’t it? Are you taking advantage because it’s my debut?” Archie just smiled at her.

“I just really didn’t know I’ll for this stubborn girl but I did. I fell so hard and that’s the truth I can’t deny.” Dawn laughed at him. These lovebirds should really be aware that there are too many people staring at them.

“I am doing this just to get your Yes. And please don’t reject me. I know you love me anyways.”

Once a shy guy transformed by LOVE.Dawn opened her mouth to say the words I knew she will. I knew it since the day they first both got laid their eyes on each other. I knew it very well but some instances were not really expected such that REVENGE. But what did I say? LOVE will knock Revenge; full of anger and hatred out of their hearts and it was indeed true. I know all this since I am Dan, the witness of their love story at the first place.

“Yes. Archie Patricio Salvador. I would gladly give you my first yes.” And then they hugged for a long time. And they stared at each other as if they are the luckiest persons alive. ♥
