"You got this y/n. Youre gonna go in, and you're going to make a great first impression on your new coworkers." I say to myself as I walk into the 21st district. "Um, excuse me, hi I'm y/n Hudson, I'm supposed to be starting Intelligence today?" I say to the front desk Sargent, and she looks up, but looks directly passed me. "Hey lovebirds, take this one up with you. She's Dawson's replacement." She says and I turn to look at the people in question. I feel my heart sink when I see it's not only the guy from the bar last night, but also his girlfriend. They stare at me for a moment before leading me upstairs. They walk to their desks and I go to the only desk left open, right across from Kim. "Everyone, meet the new member of our team. Y/N Hudson, she transferred from Organized Crime. Kim, she'll be partnered with you." Voight says, and Kim looks at him. "Can I talk to you for a minute sarge?" She asks and he lets her into his office. After a few moments of them talking, Kim comes back out. "Okay. Kevin you're with Kim, Ruzek you're with Hudson. Y/N can I have a word?" He asks and I bite my cheek as I walk into his office, he shuts the door behind us. "Kim told me what happened last night. We're gonna pretend it didn't happen. Jay is 110% off limits to you. When it comes down to you or to Kim, I will choose Kim and you'll be gone, am I making myself clear?" He asks and I nod quickly. "Good. Now get back to work." He says and I quickly leave his office. So much for a good first impression.
