Jay's POV
"Okay, what do we know?" Voight asks and I stand up, pinning the picture of our victim on the board. "This is Kala Brookes. Unfortunately, the only thing we can think of that makes sense as to why she was killed, is how much she looks like Kim. She was a second grade teacher, had absolutely no priors, she leaves behind a wife and two children." I say before sitting back down. "Kev and I checked the security cameras, you can see whoever it is dump Kala's body, and then walk away, but we don't know where they went." Hailey says. "Adam and I talked to some bystanders. They all said the same thing, there was a guy sitting in his car all morning. Nobody saw his face, but they did give us the type of car. It's a 2002 blue Jeep Liberty. License plate number is 7G9-8NM." Y/N says and we all look at her. "Okay, Ruzek, Atwater run the license plate number. Jay, Y/N go down to the morgue. Hailey, go through the security footage again, I know you al-" Hailey promptly cuts him off. "I'll go through it 50 times if it means getting Kim home safe and sound." She says and he nods before heading back into his office, probably to make a few phone calls. "I think Y/N overheard Kim and I talking this morning so just, be aware, and here." Hailey whispers before handing me her keys. "Got it. Thanks." I whisper back before walking over to where Y/N's standing. "Why'd Hailey give you her keys?" Y/N asks as we walk down the stairs. "Oh, we're gonna take her car." I say as Platt calls me over. "What do you guys know? Voight said he'd give me updates, but I'm losing my mind down here." She says and I tell her everything we know, which unfortunately, isn't much. I walk back over to where Y/N's waiting for me. "Okay, lets go." I say and we exit the building. I pray to god that Kim's okay and that Y/N doesn't ask me too many questions.

Hi. Okay, I was gonna make this chapter longer, but I'm literally so sick. So enjoy this, and I think I'm gonna take a nap.
