Nagito sat on a couch inside of the living room with a concerned look on his face. He always seemed to do this these days, yet nobody, not even his best friend, and also roommate, Hajime, knew why. He always tried to hide this expression, but it came out so often that it was easy to know when he was hiding it. "Hey, Nagito." Hajime said, walking out of his room. Nagito jumped a bit, seemingly startled. "Yeah, what's up?" he replied. "We need to go to the store and buy some food." Hajime informed Nagito. "All we have is a few Poptarts and cereal, and you know for a fact we can't survive without that." Hajime laughed a bit. "I remember you trying that once, didn't end well." Nagito pouted a bit, and let out a small sigh. "I was 15, give me a break!" Nagito lounged back on the couch a bit, just enough where he could be comfortable and not have the couch hit the wall. "But anyways," Hajime continued on. "Do you wanna come with me, or do you wanna stay here?" Nagito looked down for a second, before popping his head back up to reply. "I'll stay here." he replied. Although there was obviously something on his mind and Hajime heard clear stress in his voice, he decided to leave it alone. "Okay." Hajime said, while unlocking the door. "Be back in like an hour. Call me if you need me, okay?" Nagito nodded in place of an audible response, and Hajime left for the store. As soon as his roommate left, Nagito sighed. Truth be told, Nagito had never felt any romantic feeling towards everyone, except for Hajime. Since these feelings were so new at a relatively late time in his life, he didn't know what was going on. He questioned if these feelings were real, and what his sexuality was. He'd swept it under the rug for months, and had not planned to do anything about it anytime soon, though he knew he would have to eventually. "This is really getting to me today." Nagito thought out loud. Not wanting to put up with his stress any longer, he took a nap, and waited for Hajime.

5 hours later, Nagito had finally awoken from his sleep. He hadn't anticipated to sleep this long, especially because he had slept a full night. He had woken up with a blanket on him, which he didn't put there, so he assumed Hajime had come back. The thought of Hajime being that generous made him blush a bit, though he hid it until he stopped thinking about it, so that Hajime didn't notice were he to walk in. Rubbing his eyes, yawning, and getting some water, he sat back down on the couch, not anticipating to go look for Hajime. He wrapped himself in his blanket, and continued drinking his water. Hajime had finally noticed that Nagito had woke up finally, and so decided to say hi. "You're finally awake?" said Hajime. Nagito blankly stared at Hajime for a second, before rubbing his eyes once more and looking down. "Yeah." he said, in a slightly mumbled tone. Hajime had noticed something was wrong, more so than before, but didn't want to pester him about it seeing as his roommate had just woken up. It pains me to see someone i love stressed like this. he thought, being careful not to think out loud. "Well, do you need anything?" Hajime asked reluctantly. "No." Nagito replied, wrapping himself in his blankets and laying back down on the couch. Hajime had known that Nagito could be cranky when he woke up, but he was never like that to this degree. Figuring it was best to leave him alone, Hajime simply sighed, and walked away. While he wanted to help, he didn't know what was going on, and Nagito wasn't exactly the clearest and most transparent man to exist. Meanwhile, Nagito went back to sleep. He seemingly had just passed out, not meaning to go back to sleep at all. It'd been happening for a bit, about the same time when he started acting up, although not as frequently as the other strange happenings the white haired man had been dealing with, and pushing onto his brown haired friend. Before anyone could know it, hours had passed, and it was now 12 AM.

Nagito, after a while, had finally awaken. Realizing how it was dark outside alarmed him a bit, he didn't know he slept for that long. He rolled over from his current position on the couch to look at the time. "12:37 AM, huh?" he thought out loud. "I must have been sleeping for a while" Nagito took a quick yawn, and got up. He made sure not to accidentally open his water bottle, which he had forgotten to put down when he went to sleep for the second time. After stretching a bit, Nagito started to head towards his room. Before opening the door to step inside, he looked to the left of the hall, only to see the door for Hajime's room. He had suddenly remembered why he had fallen asleep, which instantly put him in a bad mood again. Nagito was on very thin ice with his feelings at this point, and he definitely didn't want to think of them at a point where he was so tired of them he could burst at any minute, so he walked into his room, sat down, and tried to forget about everything. His mind today seemed overloaded with the thought of Hajime, though. No matter what he did, no matter who he saw, no matter what happened. It seemed like he could not get Hajime out of his head. Usually when he thought like this, he slept through it to prevent him from feeling any negative feelings. Today was an exception, though. Not only was he not tired, but he was at the very end with his feelings, not knowing if they were true or not. Nagito panicked for a bit, until he sat down and started to cry as quiet as he could, as not to disturb Hajime, who he assumed has been sleeping. Hajime had already heard his friend crying however, and being a tiny bit concerned admittedly, he rushed into Nagito's room to see what was up, and if he could help in any sort of way.

Hearing the crying and being worried for his friend, Hajime rushed into Nagito's room to see what was up. Upon walking in, he saw the white haired boy sitting on his bed slightly under sitting straight up, and crying. "Nagito, what's going on?" Hajime asked in a quiet, yet worried tone. Nagito looked up at Hajime, and as best as he could when crying this hard, let out a few words. "Nothing is wrong, Hajime. I'm fine. Go away." Hajime would usually leave him be, but considering what was currently going on, he couldn't deal with this. The spiky haired boy sat down next to his friend, and began to try to reason with him. "Nagito, please, tell me what's going on." Hajime said. Nagito looked at Hajime, trying to look angry, but too sad, and crying too much to do so. "I'm not telling you! I mean, nothing is wrong, okay?!" Hajime could tell the boy was lying. Waiting a few seconds, he sighed. Hajime put his arm around Nagito, and pulled him in closer, in attempt to comfort him. "Nagito, i know something is wrong. You've been acting like this for months. Please, just tell me what's wrong." Nagito froze for a second, and sighed while wiping his tears. "Hajime, i've never fallen in love with someone, but..." Nagito looked around for a second, and started blushing. He felt awkward. "...I-i think i like you." Hajime looked at Nagito, and smiled. "Nagito, that's fine, because truth is, i like you too." Nagito started to cry more, and hugged Hajime. Hajime looked at Nagito, and gave him a pat on the head. "If you have told me earlier, you could have avoided all this suffering." Hajime said, raising his head a bit. "But it's over now. And, well, i love you, okay?" he added on, before going back to hugging Nagito.
