There once lived a princess who was next to be crowned.
She did not want to be next for the last one had drowned.
She lived a happy life, and she at that moment never frowned,
But her heart was missing something - her heart had now downed.

She searched all of the kingdom for the missing part,
But she could not find what was gone from her heart.
She kept on searching, and her life was torn apart.
She felt as if her heart was shot with a dart.

Then there came a young prince, who lived far away.
His heart was very saddened and also very gray.
He arrived at the princess's kingdom just to stay for a night and day,
When he met the princess, he did not know what to say.

She was fair and beautiful from her head to toe,
Her eyes were bright blue, her teeth white as snow.
Her blonde hair had a very bright glow.
The only word he said to her was, "Hello".

The princess saw him and she was in awe.
The prince was very handsome, with him no flaw.
His hair looked as if it would be as soft as a puppies paw.
He was well built, and had the perfect jaw.

They were both silent, with them no sound.
Both felt something strange- their hearts started to pound.
They realized what thing had to be found.
It was love! Oh, how their hearts made a beautiful sound!

The prince smiled at her, and he said,
"You are the one who will make my heart red!
You are the one that my heart needs to be fed!
You are the reason why my heart sweetly bled!"

"You are the one who is my day!
Your eyes, oh how they sparkle as the light's ray!
Your hair looks so soft and gold as the hay!
Will you come with me, my princess today?"

The princess smiled, and she did accept.
Her heart was bright and no longer wept.
All of her sadness felt as if they were swept.
Now she found love and had it kept.

The princess and prince had left the royal castle.
She had left the kingdom's noble lords and vassals.
She had left the kingdom with no argue nor hassle.
She only thought of the prince while grabbing the horse's tassel.

This is the story of the royal love.
They fell in love as two nice doves.
They had lost something thereof,
But had gained it from above.
