" Dr. l/n, are you okay ? you look stressed" my supervisor said. I've been up all night thinking about him. "no,no i'm fine.." i said with a fake smile. she can see right through me and knew right off the bat i was lying but she let it slide because we had more patients to care for.
" Sayuri ? i'm coming in " i said while knocking on her door with a happy tone. Sayuri is one of my patients i've had for a while, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 19 and she's been in this hospital ever since then. i feel so bad for her, she's 21 now and she's never had any ( real ) fun which is why i created a good bond with her and because she's really cute but that's besides the point.
" is it Dr.L/n ?" sayuri said.
" yes it is, now can i come in ?" i said with a begging voice.
" okay you can open the door" sayuri said.

*after the medical examination *
" dr. l/n you look very tired ? is something bothering you, did you break up with your hero fiancé " sayuri said with a smirk on her lips.
" no no sayuri... it's just.. i haven't seen him in months and i know he's working or whatever but like... i just want to see him again." i said with a guilty look on my face
" i know exactly how you feel, my girlfriend works overseas sometimes and i just want to hug her, she volunteered to stay with me until the tumor is gone but i told her it's fine. but i know exactly how you feel, he'll come back he can't do hero work forever ya know." sayuri said with a positive attitude
" you're right sayuri... he will come back. and about your tumor... we can take it out next week" i said
" are you serious... you're lying L/n... sorry for what about to say but.... f/n l/n please don't lie to me" sayuri exclaimed.
" no i am not sayuri, we found the best neurosurgeon, his name Dr. Newman he came all the way from the US to save you." i said happily
" i have to call my girlfriend right now... thank you f/n you've done so much for me in these last two years i hope we still stay in contact after my tumor is gone" sayuri said
" well i'll give you your privacy sayuri see you later" i said with a big smile
"good bye doc"
