Kasumi's POV

Dream

'Will you be back for my birthday?'

'Wouldn't Miss it for the world....'

Beep beep....beep beep.

I groaned at the sound of my alarm clock interrupting my sleep.

I reached for it to stop from continuing. I sat up with a big stretch. I looked to my black cat Yami who was on my double bed.

"Morning Mister"I say scratching his ear which he always loves. Which he responded by showing his stomach. I smiled and pat his stomach.

"Today's the exam for UA day"I say excited though if anyone saw my face it be blank. Getting up I grab my towel and did my morning routine. I leave my hair out and brushed.

I get dressed into my secondary uniformed which was a plain black with my skirt, I put my black high socks on. I place my workout outfit in my bag neatly. I slip my hair tie on my wrist.

I grabbed my phone and shove it in my pocket and placed my portable earphones in the front of my bag.

I went to the room across from me and knocked on it hearing a groan. I rolled my eyes and swung the door open.

"Hitoshi get up we're gonna be late for the exam"I say as he opened his eyes. I walked over to him and yank his sheets off.

"Fine fine get out so I can get dressed Kas"He says rubbing his face. I shook my head and walked out, closing the door. I went straight to the coffee machine. I looked to the fridge seeing a note from Mihoko saying she's off to work.

"Oh I'll have one of those"I hear Hajime say kissing my head and I nodded. Grabbing two mugs and poured us a cup of coffee.

"Morning to you too"I say monotonously. I hear him chuckle "Sugar?"

"Uh one please"He says sitting at the table. I give him his coffee. He looked so sleepy due to the dark bags but he doesn't even need to sleep.

"Long night?"I joke as I packed mine and Hitoshi's lunch.

"Very funny brat"Hajime says making me snicker. "But yep as always"

"Heh I'd envy you if no sleep wasn't your quirk"I say turning to around to him as I finished my task.

"Hah yeah I always get concern looks and questions if I'm sleeping properly"He says. I smirked as I leaned against the counter and sipped my drink.

"I can imagine Hajime"I say. He smiles standing up and walked over to me.

"You know you can always call me dad"He says placing a hand on my shoulder. "Don't be afraid to alright"

I nod looking down. He sighed and brought me into a tight hug. I leaned my head onto his shoulder.

"Even though we're not fully related I still love you as my own kid"He says kissing my head. I sighed feeling happy and sad.

"You're gonna do great okay I'm rooting for you two"Hajime says. "I want you to know that 'they' would be proud of you"

My heart beats softly as the feeling in my chest I've locked away tried to burst through.

"Thanks Ha-I mean dad"I say as we pulled away.

"Are you two done we need to leave"Hitoshi says with folded arms. I nodded and skulled my drink.

"Oh yeah here's your lunch"I say grabbing his bag after wiping my mouth and gave it to him as I had mine. We head to the door to swap slippers for our school shoes. I grabbed my running shoes and put them in my bag.
