Chapter 10

Sports Festival

Kasumi's POV

I sat on the sofa that was on the edge while the class was sitting in chairs of the waiting room. Today was the day of the Sports Festival.

I was excited to do it but it's just the amount of people watching is giving me anxiety. Apart from that I was given chocolates and small gifts from some of my class. They had told me they saw my birthday was the other day and had planned to get me something.

I told them not to worry but everyone in my class is such a kind soul. Though I'm not surprised Bakugou or Todoroki would do anything not that I mind. Though surprisingly Bakugou gave me money....which defeated was a surprise.

It's just my birthday isn't that special for me but people tend to care for me like that. If only I can remember why I hate that day, I can only remember my biological parents died.

"Midoriya can I talk to you?"I hear and I looked to see Todoroki staring down at Midoriya with some look. "Just know I'm stronger then you and I'm going to beat you"

"OI!!"Kirishima shouts. "Why you picking up a fight now?!"

"Shinso?"I hear and I looked at him. "I'm also stronger then you and I'm go-

"I heard you the first time"I say standing up walking to him. I stared him in the eye. "Don't go easy on me then"

Everyone looked at me shocked as I stared down Todoroki. He blinked at my bluntness. All he does is grunt in agreement.

"I know you're stronger then me but I'm still going to try"Midoriya says also and I looked at him with a smirk. "Like Kasumi don't go easy on me"

Todoroki just looked more determined as I just sighed sitting at the table next to Kirishima. I feel eyes that burned the side of my face.

"What?"I asked getting annoyed.

"Tch you really think your tough?"I hear and I looked to Bakugou.

"I mean I'm not as tough as you but I'm still ain't gonna go easy"I say scratching my head.

"What no your amazing!"Mina shouts and I looked at her with a weird look. "We all think your the toughest out of the girls"

I looked at the girls they all nodded to me and I felt my heart beat.

"Your all so trusting"I say with a chuckle. "Thanks I guess"

"GIVE IT UP FOR THE U.A STUDENT!"I hear Present Mic. We all walked out through the tunnel and might I just say....I'm dying on the inside as people cheered for us. I mean dying as in petrified.

I looked up at the crowd as we walked to the centre. I felt a nudge and I looked to see Hitoshi and I smiled before nudging him back.

"I'll be rooting for you if I don't make it"He says and I smiled.

"You'll do great"I say we stood together as Present mic gives us the rules of what to do and what not to do. That was when Midnight came out making all the men fawn over her.

"Men"I muttered as Mineta and Kaminari are staring at her like pervs. That was when Bakugou got to go up and give a speach.

"I'm gonna win"Bakugou says making everyone shout at him. I sighed.

We went to the start of the race which was the first challenge I stayed in the middle.

"Go!"I hear and I immediately used the other students as a leverage. I disappeared and reappeared out of the tunnel and started running using my black steal.
