Since the two were children, they never mixed
Different ages, different needs, separate interests
At night, they were kept apart by their father
For they didn't want to be next to each other
But time passed, and they grew up
And realized the truth as they grew closer
Small age gap, similar needs, similar, interests
They embraced each other, but the damage was already done
To the younger sister, now having small hope in life
No tears was seen to the eyes of the elder
And so that was how she believed the younger was happy
While she had been shone upon and fed love and affection
Little was spared for the sibling
But she smiled, brightly so as to hide the pain
So much it was seen as the truth
And she is now turned to stone
Unmoving and still, keeping her station, lacking love
Just for the elder to have a better life
Just to be happy seeing her happy
Smiling forever, tears dried out
But she never regrets
Even when despair creeps in her heart,
Now tender, weak, and small
Her choice was always the same
"Her happiness is superior to mine"
