"What did you say?" I asked in a calm way. My anger rushed through me but I still try to calm myself.

I don't wanna burst out, I need to think of my mother's condition. I need to protect her, I'm the only one she has and she's the only one I have.

"I said they are going to stay here with us." My dad repeated. I looked at him in disbelief.

He brought his woman in my mother's house and he dare to say that infront of me. What a thicked face he has!

I don't really wanna bad mouthed him, out of respect.

I asked again looking more serious this time.

"Kailan ba ako nagbiro, Viyanna." Ngunit mukhang mas seryoso pa siya sa akin. Bumuga ako ng hangin at hindi makapaniwalang tinignan siya.

"Bahay to ni mommy! Wala ka ba talagang respeto sa asawa mo at dinala mo pa talaga iyang kabit mo dito?!" Hindi ko na napigilang sumigaw. Nabigla ako ng malakas niya akong sinampal. Did he just slap me?! Really?!

"Vector! Ano bang ginagawa mo!"

"Your mother and I already agreed to this, Viyanna." I gave my mother a confused look when I heard what my dad said.

She nod at me and smiled but it doesn't reach her eyes. I can't believe my mother agreed to this craziness. Did she gone crazy?!

I was walking so fast when my mother grab my arm. I looked at her in betrayal.

"I need to do it, anak. Please understand, hm?" Sabi niya sa tonong nagpapaintindi.

"Why?" I whispered. Doesn't have the strength to be angry anymore.

"Ilang araw ng hindi umuuwi and daddy mo. Ito lang ang magagawa ko para mapauwi siya." I looked at her in disbelief when I heard her reason.

"What the hell mom!" I couldn't stop myself from shouting anymore. I saw the shock on her face so I tried to calm down.

"Wag ka ng magalit sa akin, anak." She said asking for my understanding.

"Mom, ikaw nalang ang meron ako kaya ayaw kitang masaktan. So please do yourself a favor, stop hurting yourself. Si dad lang ba ang nakikita mo? Paano naman ako?" My voice broke. I looked up to stop my tears from falling and face her again.

"Honey..."

"I'm not angry mom. I'm just.... upset. Go and take a rest, let's just talk some other time. I need to cool down." I gave her a small smile before walking away. She didn't even asked if I'm okay after she saw how dad slapped me.

Instead of going home I stayed at the plaza infront of my school.  I just sat there and cried. Good thing this place doesn't have many people because it's already late. It's 10:00 pm to be exact.

I'm just sitting on the bench while looking blankly on the surroundings. It's like I'm a dead doll displayed.

It really hurts, my father values his second family than us. My mother is so damn crazy with my dad that it seems like she's forgetting about me. What a nice life!

I heaved a sigh.

I feel guilty for the things I said to my mother but I don't regret it at the same time. It is what I truly feel.
