The Traveling New Girl

Chapter One

                       Misty's p.o.v

Packing, I swear all my family ever does is pack. We've moved so many times i've become an expert at packing my whole room away. It usually takes me 25 minutes at the most. I learnt awhile ago to not hang anything on the walls of my room or decorate anything. It just takes too long to take down. We could be in a house from 10 weeks up to 10 months.

Now, you might be wondering why we move around so much. Before you make assumptions let me clear this up, no, we are not murderers, thieves - or anything along those lines - running away from the police. My Mom just has a job that causes us to move around a lot. She's a fashion designer, but more on that later. For now, unfortunately,  back to the real world.

1 hour into this 3 hour drive and i already think i'm going crazy. You see, I very rarely listen to pop music and when I do people are VERY surprised. I'm serious, once I was playing music through my speakers and my parents came rushing in asking if I was okay and if I was feeling good because they knew the song that was playing.....

I like to think i'm an artsy person, but when in reality i'm probably not. I like taking grunge, mysterious type photos so I guess that is one good thing out of this trip, there are some good photo opportunitys.

"If the photography spots are as good in Beach View as they are here, this move might not be so bad." I said to my parents.

"Why do you drown yourself in your photography so much?" My Mom thinks that I should be spending time with other people my age instead of going out and taking 'silly photos' all the time. Unfortunately, the problem is that i use this hobby to stay away from people. Whenever i make any human contact I kind of get really awkward. Yeah, i'ts not fun for me and the people witnessing it but more on that later.

"Ignore your Mother, I think your photography is great and you could get very far with it. You could even travel the world one day." My Dad has the complete opposite feelings towards this hobby than my Mom, he has always been very supportive about the fact that I might get a job out of it. 

"Thanks Dad, I always knew you were the supportive one." I said whilst grinning. 

Another thing about my family we are very sarcastic.

First chapter is up!!!!!!! 

Sorry its a short one (not even 500 words :0) I just don't want to make the first few chapters very long while I kind of introduce the main characters. Anyway I hope you like it and please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes it really helps :)   

Oh and if you have a title recommendation for this book just message me because I honestly don't know what to call this xD
