Ship: Youngjo×Seoho
Type: Fluff-×-
Youngjo's voice interrupted Seoho which made him look up from his book, "Seoho-ya, you should take a break." He saw his friend staring at him from his bed. He had come to his house to study but after five minutes got tired and took refuge on his bed. "Seriously, how do you even top class? I hardly see you study and then here I am always placing second."
"Taking small breaks help."
"And long is small for you?"
"Depends." He shrugged as he got up and plopped down next to him, "Don't you have other things you want to accomplish except, you know, try to beat me?"
The way Youngjo framed his question made it look like he only focused on a academics. "Hey! I do other things too."
"Really? I only see you studying."
"To scare the competition."
"Ha! You think I'm scared of you?" Youngjo pounced on top him, taking hold of his arms, making his back meet the floor. He wrestled to get himself to be free, but he held on tighter as laughter filled the room. Running out of energy, he abruptly put his hands down, making Youngjo topple onto him. Thankfully, his reflexes were fast as he placed his palms on either side of his body. His expression had changed from amusement to surprise.
They felt each other's warm and heavy breath as their faces were only centimetres apart. Seoho found himself focusing on Youngjo's dark black eyes which usually held a boyish charm, now held a certain amount of warmth and tenderness.
Youngjo was the one to break the awkward silence, "I know! Let's make a bucketlist." He proceeded to rise up and walk towards his desk. He, too, rose up and sat straight, propped up against his bed as Youngjo got a notebook and two pens. "Anything we want to accomplish till the end of high school. How about it?" Seoho took the torn page and pen from Youngjo's hand. "Nothing related to studies, okay?" Seoho smirked, hitting him on the shoulder, "Fine! But you can't see what I've written."

Dressed in their graduation gowns, they sat down on the nearest bench as looked at the sunset, signifying their last day in high school. "Can you believe it? Three years!" Seoho exclaimed, reminiscing all the joy and pain. "We've known each other for longer," Youngjo joked, throwing back his head letting out a sigh.
"I know. But still."
Silence surrounded them as they took in their last moments.
"Seoho-ya, do you remember our bucketlists?" His eyes shifted towards Youngjo, who was still resting his head on the bench, "Remember? Ha! I keep it with me. Even now."
"So how many could you complete?"
"I'm done. What about you?"
Youngjo sat back up straight, "Me? I have two things left," he corrected himself, "Actually, no, I have one left. I just accomplished my last one just now."
Seoho was curious, wanting to know his last goal, hoping he could help him complete them now. "What did you just accomplish?" A soft smile formed on Youngjo's lips as he stared off, "Seeing the sun set on the last day," he paused, "with you."
Seoho was dumbstruck.
Youngjo took hold of his hands, making him look directly at him. Seoho wanted to speak but he found himself at a loss for words. Youngjo moved in, placing his forehead against his own and whispered, "Lee Seoho, my dearest competition, my best friend," he paused to let out a warmth breath, "I like you." He slightly shook his head and corrected himself almost immediately, "No. I love you."
Seoho closed his eyes as felt Youngjo's lips press against his, which he found himself kissing back. His lips were full of tension, afraid at the thought of rejection, but the moment he got his approval, Youngjo wrapped his arm his waist, pulling him up and closer.
Seoho never knew about the feelings he had for this boy until he held him like this, careful and precious. It was at this moment when he realised that he, too, loved this little vain, but adorably goofy boy. The one who despite all their competitions never failed to be right next to him to help him up and run alongside him. The one who had taught him to savour the present which, right now, he was gladly doing.
They kept reconnecting their lips until Youngjo finally spoke, his bright smile unable to leave his lips, "And that's the end of my bucket list."
