Chapter 10 - Swimming

A/N: This picture just cracks me up every time!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That tan though ohhhh!🤩🥰😎🤣At first, I thought he wore speedos then I looked closely and saw he just rolled his pants up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jethro's POV:

I was so excited to be back home after a long day at work! Riley was now 2-years-old. "HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I said opening the door. "Hiya, babe, Riley has 2 surprises for you!" Alexis said on the couch holding Riley then she said still sitting on the couch "Riley, go to go dada!" kneeling pointing at me. "DADA!" Riley said "What?!? Riley, oh baby!" I said coming over but Alexis stopped me saying "And surprise two is.........." Then I saw Riley walking, tripping over a few times but finally reaching me saying. "Up Up dada,  MAMA!" "Okay! Whatever you say, princess!" I said picking her up. "How did you find out?!?" I asked playing with Riley's dolls on the floor next to Alexis who was also playing with her. "Well, I went for a bath then she came in since I left the door open so she could if need be anyway, then she stood up and said, "up mama!" so that's how I found out!" She said

RILEY SCREAMED AND BOTH OF US SPRINTED TO THE ROOM!

"What happened baby?" Alexis said. Riley pointed at the desk than her head holding it. "Oh, baby! BAD DESK" I said hitting the desk then checking if there was any real damage. "No propper damage thank god. All she needs now is T.V and sleeping in between her mummy and daddy!" Alexis said. Riley nodded as I laughed. "Sofia!" Riley said. "Sofia the first?" I asked playing it. While miss T.V zombie was watching on my lap she yawned. "Riley, come for dinner!" Alexis shouting from the kitchen. "COMING!" I said putting off the T.V then Riley said "No, dada!" "I'm sorry princess but dinner then bed!" I said then she looked sad "I'm sorry baby but you have a big day tomorrow. You're going swimming with mama and dada." I said picking her up then bring her down to the table. I strapped her in her high chair. Alexis fed her, then put her to sleep. We tried leaving Riley on the bed alone but she held Alexis's (well my since Alexis sits at home in my t-shirts but I don't mind) t-shirt. "Mama, stay," she said rubbing her eyes. "Okay, baby, Jethro can you get the food here and we'll eat on the floor."She said sitting back down and stroking Riley's hair as I nodded

Alexis's POV:

Jethro walked into the bedroom with two plates and glasses in his hands. So I jumped up and helped him before he broke something. "Thank you," we both said at the same time then laughed. We ate next to Riley as she was awake because of the smell. After we finished we took turns brushing our teeth so Riley had company. "Good night, my love, good night Rie Rie," I said kissing them both them snuggling into the cushions. I felt Riely snuggle into chest then arms around my waist. One small family hug. I kissed Riley's head then saw Jethro staring at me "Why are you staring at me?" I said quietly "Why can't I stare at my beautiful fiance admiring what I love and have?" he replied, "No reason just asking." I said kissing him.

~ The Next Day ~

I woke up to an empty bed. "JETHRO?!? RILEY?!?" I said shooting out of bed crying trying to stand but falling. "I'm here, I'm here. Oh no princess is it happening again?!? Do you want me to call Jane?" he raced on. "No no. But I am having an anxiety attack again!" I said breathing deeply. "Mama, okay?" Riley said sadly "Yes baby, mama is okay!" I said picking her up which had a rush effect on my body that let me become normal again. "You seem ok now," Jeth said laughing then kissing me. "Yeah, when I picked up Lil Rie Rie I was okay!" I said surprised at my body's reaction. "Okay, then whenever this happens (Though god forbid it.) again Rie Rie is the medicine," Jeth said as we laughed then I looked down to see Riley playing with Jethro's shirt, she could reach because he was inches away from me. "Rie Rie, let's go out so momma can change. ok?" Jeth said as Riley nodded. "Thank you, baby. I get you ready in a minute. Then to the beach. Okay?" I said looking down at Riley then handing her to Jethro but she said. "I walk, dada!" I laughed as he did too. "Okay, but I going to hold your had Riley !" Jethro said leading out of the room.
