Around, around, around,
I hold my breath
close my eyes

tighter, tighter, tighter,
the spiral twirls in
trying to erase the thoughts

can't ignore, can't ignore, can't ignore
I got to change it
finally

the spiral ends
but it will spin again
ten times more that day
twist, twist, twist

it tightens and spins
around my brain
