On the shores of a still crystal lake, a young long-haired guy dressed in jeans and T-shirt was sitting next to a blonde petite young woman, both staring at the calm cool waters.

"So...that's it." The girl said with a soft voice keeping her eyes fixed in front of her.

"Yep, that's it." The guy said back. His fingers searched on the grass for hers, mingling with hers. She turned only to find him looking at her. Her green eyes smiled hesitantly.

"We're on our own, the two of us, no stories, just us..." He said slowly. Her head softly nested on his shoulder.

"I like that" She said.

With her hand into his, he caressed her blond soft curls with the other, lowering his head, his face closes to hers.

"Love me less... but love me for longer." He just whispered.

She pulled her hand and passed it around his waist bringing them closer, expressing her feelings in silence. He rested his head on hers, staying there, surrounded by the calmness of the Scottish loch for the first time doing nothing, thinking nothing, chasing nothing, only being with each other for as long as they liked it...because now they had at least a chance.
