A/N: I wrote this BEFORE the episode 10 of The Flash began, so there are some differences from the original setting of the whole first season. Please imagine the story is set in an alternative universe (where Glee storyline also exists).

Summary:

Iris is hired as a journalist at the Central City Citizen. Her first assignment for this job is to interview students in Dalton Academy in Westerville, Ohio, where its glee club was suspected for using illegal steroids to perform at Sectionals. Iris is offended to report such an insignificant event -which is not her aspiration of spreading the existence of the impossibles- until she meets Sebastian Smythe, whose feature is extremely identical to her best friend back in Central City, Barry Allen.

Why do I have to go to Ohio to research the stupidest scandal in this decade? I've always wanted to work as a journalist who writes persuasive articles about what this world is facing now. For example, the incidents the vigilantes like Arrow, Canary, Batman and The Flash would chase to get justice in their cities. I want citizens to recognize these people exist and believe in the impossible instead of arguing whether some school used cocaine or steroid or whatever for their silly music competitions.

I have no idea why this is so scandalous, compared to all those miracles that I have seen in months. I mean, who cares? I am not even interested in glee clubs and don't know any rules for those competitions. And I can't bear with schools like only boys exist but girls. This school, Dalton Academy is a private school where only rich boys can attend. Speaking of rich, the building looks like some kind of manor in Victorian era and these chandeliers decorate the rooms even more classy. Then I look around to see those male students all wearing their fancy uniforms with sharp red lines. The most of them are wearing hair jells. My boss told me, just right before I departed, the two reasons why boys put too much jells on their hair; a. they have serious kinky hair problems; b. they are simply gays. I didn't believe him, entirely, though.

When I crossed the opening gate, I heard several boys singing across the hallway. They were acapella-ing 'Shelly' from the Jersey Boys, I guess. The voice was coming from that antique door that looked like the entrance to the world of Jane Austen. I knew it was where the glee club awaits.

As I opened the door, I expected them to stop singing and listen to what I am going to question about. I tried. But those boys kept singing and, surprisingly, they welcomed me into the circle. I was shocked, but at the same time, astonished by that performance. I cannot deny it. That was quite splendid.

As the song finished, all the boys stared at me with tenderly smiles.

"Well, what brings such a pretty girl like you to this Dalton Academy Warblers?"

The boy with a black hair took my right hand and kissed on back of it. He is the one who sang the lead part of the song. He was quite charming as he sounded.

"I came here to talk to you guys about the scandal at Sectionals. The one that you used steroids to do all these acrobatic performances?" I asked.

Then everyone in the room turned their faces down with dejection. Even the boy with the black hair pulled out my hand and stepped back.

Suddenly, the familiar voice came out from the back side of the room.

"Well, I think I can take care of that."

I turned to face the owner of the voice. Then my heartbeat nearly stopped.

"Barry?" I murmured unconsciously.
